Very Good Elks Course

That allows public play at certain times of the year. I very much enjoyed the layout of this Bob Simmons course - they have his original plans in the clubhouse. Course plays over mostly flat terrain. However, the greens were modern, slightly raised, rolled true and have plenty of movement. Par threes were a very good set of holes.

I always enjoy new courses and this one was no exception.

Great golf course in a great community

The Richmond Elks lodge is a fantasic place to golf and have a beer with buddies after your round. The course is welcoming to golfers of all skill levels, but still retains it's challenging nature if you're playing from the tips. The atmosphere in the 19th hole is always light hearted and full of people having drinks and sharing stories golf and non-golf related.
