Loads of fun on a bold course
Course was a blast to play and has wild greens, large elevation changes and plays through and around valleys! It’s a must play if in central eastern Indiana.
As for previous comments about cast paths in middle of fairways???? It’s only on the four holes near clubhouse with some of the largest elevation changes and the position of the cart paths could only be where they were do to playing between large hills!
If you want a unique course with the right amount of quirk, elevation change and challenge, play here.
Good Value...interesting layout
The course is good for those not playing in the fairway because all the grass is the same length. The cart paths in the middle of the fairway is an interesting choice. The greens were challenging but had some grass issues.
Not very good
I would not go back to play this course. Extremely dry conditions. No grass on fairways, except crab grass. The putting surface was extremely slow, lost several balls in the leaves. The course could be a beautiful course but I'm assuming due to a very low maintenance budget it probably will not be open for long. The man in the pro shop was apologetic but it was not his fault concerning the course condition.
Great Greens; Poor Fairways and Tee Boxes
This is a $10 - $15 course. They don't take care of the fairways, but the greens are actually pretty nice. I preferred hitting out of the rough because the fairways were pretty much rock hard dirt with a little grass growing. A beautiful area with great course layout. Worth it just to be out there, but don't expect a nicely manicured course.
If you like sloop you love this course
It was the first time I played there it is a great place to play golf
Interesting Layout
Great challenge! Lot of hills and beautiful layout. Club selection can be a challenge. Good time.
Turkey Run Golf
Tight tee shots between trees, a hilly course, with abundant elevated and undulating greens. Some holes are poorly marked for first timers, and the fairways are taller than average. The pace of play is great, the staff is great, and the course is beautiful rural Indiana scenery. Would recommend the course to friends and will play again.
Lots of trees
It was well worth the drive to make it out here for 18. Friendly staff and an excellent course with numerous trees.
tee box markers
Tee box Markers and score card do not match
best we could figure Yellow pro, blue everyday joe, white seniors and red women
Score card does even have yellow but they seen to be pro since they are the farthest back, score card say blue are.
Your guess play from where you want.
Great Day Out
This is the 2nd time I have golfed at this course in the past 10 years. The course was in great condition and maintained very well. The customer service was outstanding.
Aerating Greens
Did not know the course was aerating all the greens on 6/7/16.
Great
Fairways and Teebox is in great shape the greens also in great shape nothing is real flat lot at Rollinghills long drives from one Hill Cross Valley to another hill dog leg Just a great enjoyable play
Lots of character
Natural setting makes for a great place to play.
Great staff.
Great food
Lots of hills
We found this course to be narrow & challenging with lots of mature trees. Greens are small but well kept.
Good value
Pace of play was excellent. Moderate traffic on course. Greens in good condition. Fairways below average, full of clover. Friendly staff but facilities old and worn. Good value with good greens and just enough challenge to be enjoyable.
Interesting holes
This was probably a very good course back in the 70's or 80"s. It is not very well maintained presently, but the big trees and narrow chutes on some holes made it very challenging.
nice little course play in control and its ok
has some very hard holes that look open but lots of blind holes as well when in doubt keep it in the fairway the trees can be trouble...
Nice layout, but poorly maintained
The staff are very friendly. Pace of play very good. Unfortunately, the tee boxes, fairways, and greens were poorly maintained, uncut or not cut enough. It was a long drive for a disappointing round. The course has good potential with proper care and maintenance.
Fun course
The course is a great value for the money. It is in better condition so far than many courses that are $40 per round. The layout of the course is fun, with challenging greens
