Unique and awesome course
The layout is super interesting and fun. Neat elevations, nice greens, well kept. A+ all around.
Nice Course for Price
I’ve been going to this course quite a bit this summer. It’s always in pretty good shape even with all the rain that we have been getting. All of the staff is always friendly. It’s a great place to go no matter your skill level.
Upsetting
Showed up an hour early to hit the range, it was closed. Pace of play was less than bad. 2:15 front nine and back nine was worse. Was fine for $17 but wouldn’t make the drive to play it again.
Well kept, just challenging enough, a very good time
Great Course
Love this little municipal treasure. Excellent staff, friendly and doing there best to control pace of play even with a fair number of inexperienced players. Great value and conditions.
Nice layout and friendly staff
Course was in good shape for this time of year.. Staff were great and very friendly.
Great course if you want to wait
The other day me and a friend of mine went there to play a round. There were others ahead of us and that was fine. Then all of a sudden there was a big hold up. When we turned the corner to# 4 we could see what it was, there was a group of FIVE ahead of 3, 2 sumes and us.
If that wasn't bad enough it turned out that there were 3 more groups of 5 on the course. When we finally made to #9 and were putting and going to 10. A tall blonde woman strolled up to 10 and T'd off, no may I go ahead of you, NO nothing. Then took her time getting of the green to go to #11.
If this happens again, it will be the last time I play the Muni. Also the young man at the desk is unfriendly and curt. A poor combination for your cash flow.
God Deal
The course layout is very good. All Par 3’s are challenging, and some really good holes. Greens were in Great shape, bunkers are rake and replace. Jeff the head pro is fantastic, it is a great deal at $40 or less with a cart. If you are in the area, I would recommend.
Small Town Course
Really nice people all around the course. Solid greens but everything else isn’t the greatest. Worth a play if you’re in town but not worth a trip from Westside of Indy.
Great Muni
For a yard grass municipal course this place has an awesome layout. More than just one or two holes that are really fun to play. The characteristics between the front and back nine even change, which is rare for a course that isn’t necessarily designed for that. The greens are in nice shape and roll fairly well, although, you will see a lot of ball marks left unfixed. I would struggle to pay the summer rates but if you can get a deal on GolfNow to play this place, it’s definitely worth 30 or 40 minute drive.
