Reviews
Great course but slow play
Course is well maintained and very scenic. The tee times need more separation and Marshall supervision due to slow play.
Quirky, fun course
Bunker Hill appears to be an old course, located in the middle of a residential area. It has some interesting and memorable holes, unlike many area courses. It is fairly short so long hitters probably wouldn't enjoy it. The greens are well maintained, though the sand traps aren't , as I've noticed on almost every course I've played this year. The fairways are not immaculate, but at this price point that hardly matters. I enjoy this course for a change of pace from most area courses.
Very Nice
Bunker Hill is an older course located in the heart of Dubuque, IA. It is hilly, with limestone outcroppings and mature oak trees. The greens are of bent / poa varieties and roll as true as any in the area. A shorter course that will still test any caliber golfer because of it elevation changes. A very nice destination that complements Dubuque's tourism. There are several tournaments held there a year including the popular 2 - Day, 2 - Man Bestshot format that is always scheduled in the last weekend of July.
