Fun course for all ages
This course is a hidden gem. Wide fairways on many holes off the tee make it enjoyable for all levels of golfers. The fairways are full, well maintained and enjoyable to hit off of. The greens are the best in the entire area. Smooth, quick, and tricky with subtle up and down hill putts make putting fun yet interesting. Good views of wildlife and wetlands are a bonus on this track. Playing the middle tees was perfect with a few short par holes and 2 or 3 holes that were demanding. Friendly staff before and after we played greeted us as well as great food and beverage choices in clubhouse afterwards make Okoboji View the very best value and experience in the entire Great Lakes area!
Go play it, you'll have a great experience for the value.
Good features
Slope was nice and allowed you to hit a variety of shots. Different tee markers made the course appear to be long if you play from the back and some of the par 4s required a decent second shot .
Vacation golf
Great golf course. Very windy today. The rough is way too long.
A walk not spoiled
Had a great time golfing with my son. Staff was very accommodating. They got us out ahead of a group which made for a quicker round. Course is in great shape. Rate of play was great and lunch was very good. All in all, a very good day.
