Poorly maintained
Unfortunately, other than a nice view of a nearby mountain, the only thing memorable about this course is the poor condition it’s in. They rely on volunteers to try to keep the course somewhat playable, but clearly that’s not working. Hilly, tiny greens, poor layout. Just not good.

Good views but little else
Hillcrest golf course is a public golf course in Millinocket, Maine. This is a hilly course with lots of woods. The course is member owned, which may explain the poor condition of this course. The greens are tiny. The pace of play is painfully slow. I would not play this course again until they fix it and bring it up to standard. The worse course I have ever played on.
