JaTo Highlands was opened in 1999 with the mission of providing a pleasurable experience for all levels of golfers. Jato's spectacular layouts play over rolling hills and through beautiful hardwood forests offering breathtaking views of Mt. Katahdin, surrounding lakes, and hills.

This course has breathtaking views!
The beautiful views and gentle breeze makes this my favorite course. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. The pace of play is great even on the busiest days. When we come to Maine this our go to.
Very nice course
Challenging and well maintained. Stunning views from 16.
No deer this time, 5 at the last outing.
First Time
I can tell the layout could be a really nice track. No rain for a bit so grass hasn’t been growing in very well.
Overall nice and can’t wait to play it again when everything comes in.
Beautiful Grass
Course is looking great, newly paved cart paths and grounds work continues to make it beautiful.

The Course is looking awesome. The staff does an excellent job at keeping the course beautiful. Look forward to another round soon.
Gem in the woods!
This is a beautiful course. Very well maintained. Beautiful views of Katahdin in the distance.
Many fairways isolated in the woods. Broad fairways and some elevated Donald Ross style. First hole is a dogleg right. Hit your tee shot 200 yards to have a chance at the green.
Get your group and go there!
Looking Good
Course is coming in after all the spring rain. Enjoy the greens. They are a challenge being smaller to land on. Enjoy JaTo very much.
JaTo Highlands
Played JaTo for the first time. It was a bit of a drive from my location but worth it. The weather has been working against them as it's been a really rainy spring. It's hard to cut grass in the rain! Lol Taking that into consideration the course was in pretty good shape. The layout is interesting with scenery and challenges. The Pro Shop was well appointed and the staff was very friendly and professional. I will give it another go in the near future once Mother Nature has been more cooperative. I would recommend the course.
Jato
The course has seen a lot of rain and the staff is trying to deal with it the best they can and they are doing an excellent job. Enjoyed the 18 holes and will return again. We’ll worth the money.
