Classic low profile course
Course was redone several years ago. Played an early morning round in the fog and loved every minute of it. Course has decent terrain and wonderful green sites. Course is short, but it doesn’t matter, it is worth the play.
A Diamond in the Rough
The Island Country Club golf course is undoubtedly the best course you'll probably never play. "You can't get there from here", but if you stubble on it, be sure to stop by. I can't say enough good about the course, the tennis courts, the food or the people. Make the effort!
Off the beaten path
I have been playing here every summer for 18 years. Family has cottage near-by. Course redone a couple of years ago. Has some elevation, greens are always in good shape. Family owned and staff is always helpful.
Play here and then get a lobster down the road in Stonnington. Can't get no betta'.
