Elmcrest Country Club

Played a few years ago and it was in bad shape. Gave it another try and they still have done nothing to improve this course. You can tell her his used to be a nice club. Now it feels like your playing in a post apocalyptic zombie land. The clubhouse burned 4-5 years ago and it’s boarded up. There’s an old semi trailer parked right in front and the clubhouse is now a portable trailer like they use at overcrowded schools. I could forgive the mess when you arrive if the course was in better shape. The greens are decent but the fringe is overgrown with crab grass and unplayable. The fairways are decent where they’re not burned out. The rough is unmanageable and was full of fallen debris from a storm 2 months ago. It’s a shame, this could be a little gem if someone who cared put some money into it.

extrememly hot day but helped to keep others from playing and therefor played with no rush. Course was fun, fair layout, and yet challenging enough for my level. Greens were consistent, bunkers were not hard packed but splashable and tee boxes in decent shape. Water boxes would have been nice so bring your own, Staff frinedly and for a golf now $25 w/cart would definitely play again. I played lousy but not the fault of the course.

O.K. to clarify my title, it was a little creepy pulling into the parking lot with the broken up asphalt, burned out clubhouse and a pool with bullfrogs croaking in it.

With that said, the course has very good bones. the conditions were good, the greens rolled smoothly and consistently at moderate speed.

It was sad to see what was obviously at one time a beautiful country club has fallen into such disrepair.

Fairways in decent shape. Greens were very good. No amenities.

For 20$ it would still be a questionable outing but at almost 50$ you’d be better off at a pitch and putt. NOT A NICE PLACE TO PLAY

course was in great shape. Still operating out of a trailer after the fire in 2016 which is weird. But everything went smoothly and I had a good time.

Course needed work but played well. Good for the $$

The place is a dump. club house has burned a couple years ago and it doesn't look like they have any intentions on fixing it. The new club house is a trailer in the parking lot. There are no signs on any of the tee boxes and hardly any yardage markers. Grass was all dried out from lack of watering.

Had a great time playing here. The course was in pretty good condition and was better than I anticipated. I would definitely cone back.

Beau cool day, hardly anyone else on the course. Fairly tight fairways and fairly fast greens that ran true with surprising undulations. 4 really nice par 3’s.

I had never played this course before but I was highly impressed with how it played and the conditions of the fairways and greens. Very satisfied playing here and will definitely be back.

Nice course and layout especially the value on a Saturday

Course is playable, however it's soggy in near some holes. Pace of play was the only redeemable part of playing. Staff was a little unfriendly, Not a lot of play during the week.

Rough was up to about 4 inches which made it tough to score well. Overall great course that is in desperate need of maintenance. Turf is in great shape is most places but some tee boxes have been left unmaintained. Clubhouse needs to be repaired or torn down. Great decision to list course on golf now. Once private most do not know it is open to public

Cart paths in horrible condition, but course conditions were fairly good otherwise.

course was probably a great country club at one time. The course has a real nice layout. cart paths are the worst i’ve ever seen. your better off walking.
