Still one of the best in the state
This is my second time playing Woods Hole in a tournament and it is even better in May than it was during April the last time I played. We did have to battle some heavy winds but the course was in amazing condition. A truly unique layout that meanders over hills and valleys with some views of the water that will leave you breathless. The greens were in perfect condition and they all rolled true and at the same pace throughout the round.
Unique layout, great fun!
If you get the opportunity, play WH! This is a classic, quircky, short golf course with tons of personality. I have played WH many times and it is always interesting. Hit driver to get close to greens, but leave blind shots. Play to landing areas for best view of small putting surfaces. Probably the smallest greens you will ever find. Beautiful views. Particularly great par 3's.
Truly spectacular
I had the opportunity to play Woods Hole during a tournament and it was one of the best decisions I ever made to play in the tournament. Woods Hole is the best course I've ever played in the state of Massachusetts from rolling fairways to elevation changes and perfect greens this was truly a great experience. The new large clubhouse only added to the experience and made for a perfect day of golf. If you can get on I would highly recommend this course to everyone as not only is the course spectacular but the views of the Woods Hole are equally amazing. This is what private golf in New England is all about
