Wet
much standing water & deep pools. Greens in good condition. Much rainfall lately. Could be a good place to play during the summer
Fantastic Local Course.
Well laid out, general great pace of play. 8 Is our favorite hole. Rick and his team are always friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to get back out.
Fantastic First Round at Wampanoag
I played here this morning (9/2021) and had a fantastic time. This was my first time here and I was the fist one off. I walked 18 in around 2 hours and didn't feel rushed or slowed down. One very friendly twosome let me play through on my second 9 and as regulars they even helped steer me in a better direction than I took on my first lap. The course was a bit wet but was in very good condition and felt well kept. Nothing seemed neglected.
The full course brings you around 9 holes twice and has a challenging mix of 3's, 4's, and a 5 that allows for low scoring opportunities. The tee boxes aren't the prettiest but neither is life. You'll find 4 full sets of tees, although a few of the blues were up with the whites due to wet conditions. The fairways provide a fun variety of lies and the varying direction of grass growth added to the challenge. The greens were an absolute treat to pitch and chip into. While the greens are small, soft and forgiving, they can be attacked aggressively if you're willing to take risks with the many trees and wet areas on the course.
Barry, the head of grounds, was the one I first met when I arrived and was extremely helpful and accommodating and even provided me with a number of very helpful pointers and insights into the course as I ran into him around the first 9.
The owner, Rick, is a great guy and I really enjoyed talking with him about the club and its history. He runs a great place and everyone that I met and talked with there was quite friendly.
I will definitely be back to play again soon. Thank you!
Not bad for golf now hot deal price of 16 bucks.
Owner is a very nice guy. Tee boxes are kind of cut high and some crabgrass. Fairways are average at best. Greens were nice, soft and not fast. For the price, not a bad deal. Played with another player, had a 10 o’clock tee time, and finished 18 in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Not busy at all. Wanted to go in for a beer, but had another appointment. The guys in the clubhouse have been awesome in the past. I’ll hop on that deal again. Small greens, too.
Course conditions have improved tremendously, tee boxes still need work, but you can’t beat the value and it is a fun course to play. Has a lot of potential.
Palmer River gem
I like this course. Pro Shop people are friendly. Course is walkable and very pretty along the River. Can’t beat the price.
Save your money
Course is old and run down. Don’t recommend playing her for the price or condition or the course.
Great day of Golf Again
Not crowded, interesting layout and cheap! Very pretty near the river. The change in weather makes the course different every time you play. The owner is a great guy and makes you feel like he appreciates your business. A great place!

You are full of it if you think the owner is a great guy. He’s the meanest old Scrooge I’ve come across.

You are full of it saying the conditions are excellent. Good job making fake post. Worst owner in the history of owners. I truly hope you go out of business.
Greens are the best!!
Super fast and tried greens. Tee boxes need some help please.
Don’t waste your money
I play a lot of courses, and this one is by far the WORST. the tee boxes are literally mounds of dirt. The fairways are so long the grass is halfway up your shin. The greens are decent which is clearly where they put all of their time/ attention. Fairways intersect each other and you never really know which way is the next hole. You couldn’t pay me to play there again.
Good Last Resort
Wouldn’t go out of my way to play here but when in a pinch for finding a place to play, this place will always come through. Just be prepared for slow play as they take way more tee times than they should causing a backlog of people waiting to tee off.
It is what it is
Super last minute teetime, only course available. It was priced low and we got we paid for. Basically a giant field with fairways literally crisscrossing one another. Surprisingly super nice greens, almost oddly superior to the rest of the course.
Great escape.
Nice 9 hole course that challenges and has beautiful views.
You’re full of crap
