Good short option
Course is generally well kept with fairways and greens in good shape. Outside areas are dry/brown/rocky. Holes are easy to navigate and walkable. Most holes are par 3 so you can use various irons during play. Staff is pleasant and there is a bar/restaurant limited due to covid. Pace is usually quick but also can be slowed due to new players/practice etc.
Pass
The course is very tired and needs some work. Aesthetics aside it is a fair par 3 course for the money paid.
You get what you pay for
Cheap price and the course fits the bill. Plenty to be desired but for the price it’s a fun time.
Not up to expectations
Short Par 3. Holes right on top of each other. Lumber and butts in every tee box. Poor course conditions everywhere except the greens. I’d only recommend this place to beginners or a group with children.... a lot of that going on. Slowed down the pace considerably! All in all, second time playing here and probably the last!
Awful
You honestly couldn’t pay me to play this course again. Terrible course conditions and outrageous prices for a par 3 course. Used to be a fun course to play when it was cheap and you didn’t expect much for the price you payed, since it’s gone under new ownership the prices are ridiculous and it’s the same garbage course. Played 9 holes at 5:45pm and waited on 7 of the 9 tee boxes waiting for group ahead to finish up.
Cute course
Great place to bring my daughter who is just learning to play. They were setup well and course was enjoyable. Staff was fantastic and people were friendly.
Good course
Good par 3 course. Layout isn’t overly challenging but it’s fun and you can have a fast round of 18.
By far the worst course I’ve ever played at. Every hole is basically under 200 yards and a straight away shot! Course was in terrible condition and the greens were tough. Definitely not going back ever again !
Disappointing experience
I wanted to like this course because I generally enjoy Par 3 courses as a chance to practice mid and short iron shots. I just wasn't impressed with this course. The course had seen a lot of play and the greens were in OK shape. The tee boxes were beat. It was a HOT Sunday afternoon and I had brought a half gallon of water and I was out by the 10th hole. I definitely should have filled up at the turn because of the two water jugs I saw on the course, both were empty. I saw the drink cart when I was on the 4th hole servicing a triple tee box but I didn't see her again for the rest of the round. How is that not top priority on a 90+ degree day?
The pace of play was also a serious issue. I love to see people out learning the game and having fun at all ages, and the senior game can be played quickly. Hit it, walk up to it, hit it again. This was not the case for the senior group in front of our foursome. It becomes especially frustrating on a Par 3 course since you're waiting for them to play out the entire hole. They even forgot to replace the flag a few times so we had to drive up and put it back in.
There was a rude ranger at the turn asking why we had three carts and weren't teeing off immediately (the ladies in our group needed to use the bathroom). Other than that no one was out moving things along on the course. We played the 3100 yard course in a little over 4 hours. It felt like much longer.
For $30 the value in this experience just wasn't there. I won't be back for any price.
