Falmouth Country Club - Eighteen Hole Course

Due to COVID restrictions, the off course amenities were not available, but the staff was extremely friendly. It was 48 degrees, no sun, but no wind which made it feel comfortable to play. For the last week of February, the greens and tee boxes were in good shape. The sand in the bunkers were playable too. Nice layout with enough room in the fairways to absorb the driver off the tee. Very walkable track which include walking to the next tee. Old style golf course with plenty of trees to make you stay focused. Would recommend this course to play anytime of the year.

After booking on Golf Now for a 10:30 tee time, found out the next day that the course was closed after showing up to play. Maybe if I could receive an email before tee time, I could have a saved myself a trip to the course. There was a prior light snow cover two days before, but most other courses were open. After talking to the pro shop, they said they would advise GolfNow of the closure and ask for my refund. The pro shop there is always polite and helpful.

It was perfect. The greens were in great condition. The course is very open, no water and very easy to walk. There was only one hole that was up and down. We really enjoyed playing and clearly so do many others. Would play again for sure. We walked 9.

My happiest find of the year. Compared to the courses nearby, Falmouth is an incredible value. Great shape, great mix of holes, at a bargain price.

My husband and I usually walk this course. We got a cart a month ago because of the heat and was charged $20. Yesterday we got a cart instead of walking and was charged $38. I asked the club house attendant and his reply was $19 each.

Course needs a Ranger to regulate the pace of play. Five hours and fifteen minutes is too long for a round of golf. We waited on every tee box and most fairways. This is the second time we’ve had a round of golf exceed five hours. This could be a great value with a reasonable pace of play.

Paid $100 and they didn’t tell us at booking, check in or the starter that they just aerated the greens. Quit after 8 holes because of the greens and when we requested a rain check they refused and the guy in the clubhouse gave us attitude and said we just didn’t know how to play. The course isn’t worth the rate on its best day.

Good course, greens in nice condition. Not high end, but a good round with challenging pin placements.
