Bedrock Golf Club

The most unfriendly staff I’ve ever encountered. Guy at the desk was a miserable old man. You’ll never catch me going into their mobile home club house again!

Bedrock golf club is an awesome practice round golf course. You get to play the same hole twice. The course layout is perfectly suited for beginners and intermediate golfers. The greens are in perfect shape. The fairways and rough need some work to grow the grass in same areas. Overall the course is in very good condition.

Highly recommended for beginners and intermediate golfers. The 4th hole is a PAR 3 with water in front. This year I was able to carry the ball for the 1st time on the green. There was a threesome in front of us. The men watched my shot and once I got on the green to make my puts they said to me “Great shot”!

This year I believe that I can play comfortably on this gold course.

I also took my mother with me to walk by my side and caddie for the first time on this golf course and she really enjoyed it.

I've lived in the area most of my life and had never been here before. My usual course was fully booked, so decided to venture out.

Pleasantly surprised by this 9-hole course. Tree-lined fairways, water-hazards, and rolling hills made it a challenge. Staff was friendly, but I'm not sure if GolfNow is fully integrated into their scheduling, as there was a scramble tournament going on, which slowed play and began at our tee-time.

GolfNow price was over half-off the normal price. Will definitely go back to try to improve my score on this course.

I think I hit the lowest round of my career 73. I hit 8/14 fairways and 6/18 greens. 2 birdies, 13 pars, and 3 bogies.

Pars 4 and 5 used to be my nightmare. I really struggled making pars let alone birdies.

Since I significantly improved my driving from 150 to 255 yards I can now get to have a chance for birdie in most less than 400 yards PAR 4s.

Since all my focus has been on improving on PAR 4s and 5s I am still struggling on PAR 3s. I will write more about my PAR 3 practice in my next review.

I was able to make 2 birdies on 2 PAR 4s, in holes 8 and 17.

This is a great practice course because you have two chances to play the same hole location.

The course from the tips, although not punishing long, is long enough to be challenging. The layout is fun and nice looking.

The course itself wasn't in the best of shape, but in all fairness the weather leading up to the day I played was not the best for the course either.

I believe that this is a great practice course for anyone wanting to enter a tournament. The fairways are a bit narrow so you might want to use more of the 3W and 3H instead of the DR.

I will consider playing at this course at least once a month.

Next time I will include photos and videos for my review.

The bar staff is nice and friendly, and the cook makes some great food.

The overall course conditions are well maintained for a small nine hole course.

Give it a try for something different and great golf deals.

Arrived early for a 1230 tee time, and gentleman behind the counter seemed not to know what was going on. Apparently it was a Members/Guest tournament and our 1230 Guaranteed Tee time was going to be delayed according to some woman who was in and out of the Office/club house. We loaded up our cart and sat and waited patiently for what was suppose to be 3 teams of 4, that changed to 5 and 1 hour later we were teeing off. However this was not the end as we trailed this tournament for four holes. Grueling to say the least..Just before heading out we ordered a burger and chicken sandwich, the burger was fine however the chicken sandwich was not cooked. The course proved challenging as before most greens was scrub and water. The course was showing signs of little watering, however the greens were in good shape and challenging. I will not return and no I would not recommend to any friends. It's a locals club and the atmosphere of this place was very evident and we didn't belong.

The tee time actually shouldn't have been available. There was a member/member sweeps going on but they squeezed us in with a pair. Since it was a holiday tourney the first 9 were a little slow but it sped up at the turn. Super friendly people. Greens were in great shape despite the major lack of rain in the area. I will be sure to go back.

We had a 12:15 tee time, when we entered the clubhouse we stood at the counter for 5 minutes with 2 people working directly in front of us. When he finally looked at us and said "Can i help you?" in a crotchety annoyed town, i said "Yes, I have a 12:15".

Both workers laughed, and then said, "We don't have 12:15s". My reply was to show them my reservation from Golf now. He looked at it, pressing more buttons on my phone like, "reserve another tee time". He then asked if i had any paper work... I was puzzled, I asked, "why would i bring paper work for a tee time i reserved on my phone?". His tone then change to yelling, stating "Because they don't tell us, its for our records, ya know?"

Before the situation got any worse, the other employee could sense that i was about to escalate the situation. Her tone, body language, and desire to help immediately changed. We were given a key to our cart, we purchased a few beers, and went outside.

I walked outside to see a complete mess, the people who were too busy giving me a hard time hadn't realized they had let a group of 6 beginners out in front of us. 6 teens, 4 carts, 2 sets of clubs, 10 packs of cigarettes.

Thats how our afternoon went, following around this group of mutants. Swinging away, punching each other, leaving cigarettes all around, and taking forever to do anything.

We had payed for 18, we played nine. We teed off at 12:40 and finished the 9th hole at 3:45.

When we were leaving , the group of six hoodlums confronted us because someone had called the main office and complained about the pace (they assumed it was us). The employees of the golf course were nice enough to wait until they hit the turn, instead of addressing the people immediately.

Never again will i step foot on this course, and neither should you.

Nice variety of nine holes with two scenic, demanding par threes with water. Best features of the course are the green complexes...undulating, bunkered, mounds and quick.
