Always Fantastic
Great end of season conditions. No leaves in the fairways at all. Hats off to the grounds crew, they really make the conditions top notch. Have yet to find a better 9-hole course.
Nice nine hole course
Extremely well maintained course. Staff was great.
I Took A Cart This Time
It’s a one hundred year old nine hole beauty, but it’s a tough walk. I walked it the first time I played here. Each of my legs is 68 years old and the up and down of this hidden gem is too much for me now. It’s a great nine holes on a piece of property that was meant to have a golf course on it. It’s a test for anyone from any of the tees. They maintain the place wonderfully. They were blowing the leaves as I played through. Gorgeous greens and excellent fairways. When you walk off the ninth green you wish there were nine more.
Great spot!
This is a 9-hole course, but you can book 18 holes. I went there based on reviews saying the condition of the course was very good and the pace of play was fast. Both were true! Did 18 holes in 4.25 hours, playing with a threesome for half and a foursome for half. Greens were in excellent shape. Low lying areas were a little wet, but better than in most courses. I will go again!
100 Years Old
Built in 1921 and it still looks great. You can tell the difference between golf courses built when golf first came to America and the new style courses. It’s a very natural setting, as if it was supposed to be a golf course here. Lots of hills, lovely fairways and great greens. They call these places, “hidden gems.” Westborough GC is a hidden gem. I’d never played here before and I enjoyed it immensely. It was a tough walk for my 68 year old legs so I will get a cart next time. There will be a next time for sure. The next time you want to play a great 9 holes come here.
Tee time
I checked in w/ pro shop before 15’ of my tee time. Pro shop confirmed I played w/ other three players. Tee time was up, There were 5 players including me.
It was surprised, he gave my tee time to other “ member “ w/o asking me. When I made a complaint “ he responded “ I had to re-arrange it !
Golf is a gentleman game ! Who said that ! ? and run by a un-professional one !
