Katke Golf Course

About
Ferris State University's Katke Golf Course is perched atop the highest point in Mecosta County, overlooking miles of rolling countryside. The course has a traditional layout with a rather surprising amount of elevation changes. It remains walkable but the subtly tricky undulations will make it a rigorous workout. Nearly all of the tees and greens are at least slightly elevated. There are more than 40 bunkers strategically placed along the greensides and landing zones and water hazards come into play on six holes. The golf course has a few unique features coming into play as well. Examples include two of the tougher par-3 holes -- there is a wood-walled bunker on the sixth and a rock retaining wall that edges the pond in front of the green on the eighth. Katke Golf Course is a local favorite, known for being one of the best values in the area.

nice and slow
Wonderful course very nice view and nice conditions we played on a camping trip to the area the only drawback was a very slow pace of play will definitely play again
Great course, in top condition, great value!
Great value and pristine course that is improving all the time. They have one of the top ten practice facilities in the country. The course was 5-star, recent improvements to edge the sand traps and add white beach sand make it even better. Great place to play and can't beat the price. Not real busy at all. No twilight rates, so the value is there any time of day.
