Will Pair You
This is a very interesting course but if you don’t like being paired with other golfers this is not your playing turf. My brother and I were supposed to be paired with two other players but only one showed up and there was some order issues at the start of play due to tardiness on the group ahead, but after the first couple of holes the pace was fine. Many doglegs and fairly tight fairways lined with trees. Check your scorecard map due to hidden hazards on some holes. The greens were fast, especially downhill putts. Very fun course and seems to be booked and busy.
Overall we had a good experience at the course. It had good assortment of hole lengths, not too challenging but a few holes that you needed to hit strategically. Our issue was on the back 9, ended up behind a group of 4 adults that were struggling. Each hole at least 1 if not 3 would tee off twice. Everyone has a rough day but they were not considerate to others & our group often waited with 2 other groups done with holes & just waiting. I wish one of the many course marshals that rode past would have said something to them.
Very Quality Course
I would highly recommend this course. Very fair prices, and the amenities are quality. Very good food at the club restaurant. The carts have GPS and are up to date. Course was kept up relatively well.
Too many areas where the grounds people did not fix their own tire muddy tracks. They are more interested in their signs for ball marks then they are for fixing the course. The far side is all tore up with construction as well making it difficult to play the last three holes
Fine Course
Enjoyed first time at this course, would and definitely will play it again in the coming summer days. Great staff. Highly recommend to anyone interested in playing golf.
GPS carts are very difficult
Course is ok but too much for the weather and course conditions. GPS carts are very difficult to understand where you can and CAN'T go on the course. Only play here a few times a year because of the way the GPS GOLF CARTS are managed by the course.
Fall Golf in Michigan
Our annual trip to Whispering Willows was outstanding once again. Course is always in good shape, play is monitored and consistent and the Clubhouse Tin Cup Restaurant is beyond excellent.
Well Worth the trip to Livonia.
Good course but expensive for this time of the year.
Started out cold (45 degrees) but warmed up on the back nine (60 degrees). Lots of leaves and lost a few balls in areas where you SHOULD NOT lose your ball. Overall good course but golf carts are GPS enabled/ MICROMANAGED and seem to warn or stop you in odd areas of the course. Only play here a few times of the year because of the price and golf carts nagging you for the slightest driving mistake.
Greens keeper
Stop being in such a bad mood picking hole locations. They don't HAVE to be on a bubble or ridge every hole. And put some water on those greens!
Golf at Whispering Willows
The course was in relatively good shape. lots of thin or dead areas outside the fairways. But that is to be expected this time of year. Overall, it was fun to play this course again.
