I understand it’s public
First off, I understand this course is public. That being said, the rangers were not helpful. It was a 5+ hour round of 18 holes. Pace of play was terrible and rangers did absolutely nothing to move people along. Course was clearly over booked. I was looking forward to playing this course again but will likely never return. Preferably would’ve loved to walk off and get my money back but it was a golf now purchase so I figured that was unlikely so we suffered through.
Weekday Golf
Whispering Willows is a very nice course that gets a lot of play. The course layout is fair for the average golfer, but your pace of play might be a little slower than what you are use to. Would definitely recommend this course as a choice and the food in the clubhouse after is excellent.
First time to play, will make it a regular course for future plays!
Staff n course joined together for a golf experience worth doing it agan!
Tee boxes need a lot of work!! Need to be rebuilt and triple seeded over the winter to get better

Poor condition
They have signs everywhere telling golfers what to do,instead they should be spending their money on fixing the course. Many bare spots, dirt holes and just poor ground maintenance. Carts are also so controlled you can barely get off the cart path. There are many other courses in better shape, and less controlling.

Solid Muni
I enjoyed my walk at the solid Muni and found a course with a fun routing that maximized the land and had many fun golf holes.

Golf carts
They have the golf carts configured so constrained you really can’t get off the cart path. The course needs a lot of maintenance. Never saw the cart person , but the ranger was out. Not worth the money

This course is in great shape for this time of year.
I came out to shoot 9 holes with my brother-in-law in the afternoon. Temp. was 65 and sunny. Beautiful day out. The course was in great shape. Cart path only, which helped out the fairways alot. Greens were in excellent shape along with the tee boxes. Would recommend everyone to come out and shoot a round at this course. Friendly staff and excellent food was available at the tin cup restaurant at the course. I give this course 5 stars.
Grass needs to be cut more regularly. Secondary rough was super long and with the rain, playing was a challenge.

Pretty course but grass was so long it was hard to play!
The woman bartender was awful and unfriendly. Only had hotdog snd chips and no candy , muffins or anything. The course fairways and roughs were sinking it was difficult to play. Did not enjoy this time at all!
