Excellent place to play
My buddy and I always like to play someplace new, so we picked emerald hills. Short 45 min drive from Kalamazoo to Marshall. Staff was amazing friendly and treated us very well. Course layout was amazing and even though the course was shorter, had a decent bit of difficulty. Will be making a trip back to play sometime soon
Friendly Members
I have golfed this course twice. Both times I was met with friendly people. I ended up golfing with members both times. Such great people! Had a wonderful time!
Fun Intermediate Course
Played 18 here for the first time. For the price, I was quite impressed with the course. Greens were in great shape. Some of the fairways had some rough spots and you could tell where recent rains had puddled but nothing that in anyway hindered the round. Not a particularly challenging course, and the straight 350-ish yard Par 4’s get a bit repetitive but overall, a fun local course. Tavern in the clubhouse is a great place to grab a drink and a hotdog after the round. DarkHorse Brewing just a few blocks up the road as well. 8/10, would recommend for a casual round with friends.
Great round great conditiond
Course was in great shape very well maintained fairways and roughs. Pace of play great no waiting played 18 in 3 hrs. Great pro shop and restaurant staff very accommodating.
Good Experience
1st time playing this course. Ground was pretty hard but other than that it was in good shape. Plan on coming back!
Oddly Difficult
Interesting course, parts are generic and others are very unique. Several holes are attackable. Several holes you’re just lucky to make par. Trees and tree lines make the course difficult.

Great course for the money.
We play here 2-3 times a year when visiting Firekeepers casino. Course was in great condition staff very friendly and helpful. Recommend to all level of golfers.

Older traditional course in good condition. Staff is welcoming. Excellent value.
