Developed nicely
I golfed this course about 10yrs ago and it was a bit of a farm field back then. Today, I was pleasantly suprised at how this course has been developed into a very nice place.
I really liked the rolling layout with some more forgiving fairways mixed in with a few really tight/challenging ones.
I'm sure I'll be back next season.
18 @ Sandy Ridge
Nice course, dated clubhouse, construction during the round (wasn’t made aware, didn’t receive a discount, had to skip one hole entirely and hit from women’s tees on two others). Lives up to its name, the greens are sandy. Greens and tee boxes in good shape. The rough is very rough, several inches tall, easy to loose a ball.
Poor value @$39. No interest in playing the course again.
$$$?
For the condition of the course, needs to lower the price. For how slow the people play, needs to be discounted more. Prepare dir a 5 hour round. Get beverage before teeing off. You would need it while you wait.
Amazing spring golf weather!
Played 18 with a cart because of a great deal on Golf-now. Normally would walk 18 later in the season. Pace was a bit slow - we had a two-some, and had a 4-some in front of us, and there was a larger group ahead of them that was slowing things up. Ahead of the larger group was lots of room, but we couldn't get past them! Course is in pretty good shape for this early in the season - even a bit dry!
They’re doing a lot of work to the course and are planning a new clubhouse this fall. There are spots on the course that are tore up from construction and from all the rain, once they’re done working on it the course should be nice again
