Challenging course with slopes
I like courses that aren’t just straight, and the course we played which was the West course offered several dog legs to the left and right, plenty of hazards of sand water and deep rough, andThe greens were running rather slow because the grass is spongy, so for those used to playing on fast like greens you’re going to have to adjust your putter speed to make The ball reached a holes on 15 to 25 foot putts which is challenging with the slopes. Overall love the challenge and plan on coming again
End of August round
Hadn't played at Whiteford Valley since early summer. Greens were noticeably improved and in great shape! I would say they seemed 'healthy' for the first time in a few years. the fairways were good. The one issue was that 'mother nature' seems to want fall to come early. Maybe it was the hot July, but leaves are already falling on some fairways which make it challenging to find your golf ball.
Fall golf
Course conditions were not the best. Somewhat typical for NW Ohio in the fall, the course was very wet. Drainage was not the best. Not badly maintained.
Good course
Nice course. Condition was ok for this time of year in this area.
Looking good
I have golfed this course many times. My friends call it my “home course.“ This year the area golf courses really took a hit as the rain did a lot of damage to many courses. It is now August and I would say the course is in pretty good shape considering the struggles in the early summer. Because of having three courses, the pace of play is laid-back and you have the ability to work on your game.
Not bad
Pretty average course. Wide open. A couple of interesting holes. Course was in fair shape.
Better than expected
With all the rain this spring in NW Ohio, only one of 3 courses was open. I was pleasantly surprised by the decent condition of the fairways. The greens were exceptional! Yes, there were some rough/wet areas and some cart paths need a lot of attention, but overall I was pleased.
New Course Venture
Course in excellent shape, challenging, but not to difficult for average golfer.
soggy round
Played this course on a cold rainy day recently. Although the weather conditions were not the best, the course was in very good shape. Greens rolling well and fairways and tee boxes well manicured. Would play again.
Love this facility
Went this time with five other friends and played in groups of two. The pace was great as it is most of the time at this facility that has 2 1/2 courses. It's my favorite local spot in the area because the layout is forgiving, they offer multiple courses, and it is well maintained.
Great Value
Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were surprisingly great and the fairways were freshly mowed. Pace was fantastic. Never had to wait on a shot and was never rushed. I'll be back for sure.
