Best bang for your buck possible on the planet.
I haven’t been out of town golfing , but this is hands down the best local value for golf . 15 bucks to walk 9. It is so well kept . The greens are mega slow rn which only took 1 or 2 holes to get use to. But other than that, not a single complaint. I got paired with two really good and also nice AND lovely golfers straight from my dreams. Shot like poo as usual but thoroughly enjoyed my +11. Good times . Will be there every morning for the rest of my life , weather and health permitting .
Timing
The time between golfers was too close. We were held up by the group in front of us and the group behind us were hitting up on us.
Underrated!!
A buddy and I went last year for the first time and now have been back 6 or 7 times now. Course is always in great condition and for a 9 hole course, its definitely one of the best around. The bentgrass tee boxes, fairways, and greens are a nice change up from other courses I play locally in Wayne Co. And to add, it’s only $13 to replay another 9. We almost always play it twice.
Good value
Overall this is a good course for a beginner golfer. Okay pace of play and a shorter golf course with unique holes. Only critique I would give is the greens being very slow. Almost similar to some fairways I have played on. But overall not too bad.
Great pace
Course was in good condition for this early in the season. Greens were recently aerators and long but not bad. Looking forward to coming back after the grass has had time to fully come in.
Opening Day of Spring Golf
1st day open the course was in good shape and was groomed for play. rain in morning didn't have much effect to course. Always enjoy playing at Evergreen Hills.
