Paw Paw Lake Golf Club

The course has some interesting holes and despite its lack of length, the par 3s are long and it has a par 5 over 600 yards. It also has a par 5 that can be reached with a good drive a long iron shot. There are some nice hills but the condition of the course is always iffy. There are a lot of blind shots and other holes where you really are not sure what to do off the tee unless you have played there before.

Wow, need a AAA "trip tick" to get around this course, front and back nines crisscross through each other, balls flying all over the place, had to ask directions more than once. Let two regulars through and mentioned "sorry, we don't know where we're going", they said "yea, we can tell". All par threes are long, some short par fives and short par fours. Trees, heather and waste areas add to the enjoyment.

Love the Cantina half-way shack on the lake. Beer was cold.

The course is very nice. The blue tees are considerably more difficult in comparison to the blue tees in other courses from the white.

Casual feel to the flow met only courteous golfers.

The course was in excellent shape as were the greens.

Paw Paw Lake is always a fair challenge and an exceptional value.

Nice course, friendly staff! Not a boring, flat course by any means. Beautiful scenery with some holes looking out to paw paw lake. Water hazards and sand traps make it more difficult then the average course at this price range. Great food inside the clubhouse! The cheeseburger and onion rings were awesome. Only negative I have is that the golf carts could use a little updating, they're pretty slow and loud. Overall rating 5/5!

I booked on a hot deal the first two holes were par 3 nothing and then the course opened up and some awesome, fun holes, number 8 elevated Teebox w/ lake view! Very Cool!

this is an old course but very fun different than your normal layout which made it fun some really nice par3 looking out over the lake,drivable par 4 ,easy course but must be straight. a must play at least once every summer.

Nice course, friendly staff, challenging holes require use of all the clubs in your bag. Bring extra golf balls as woods and poison ivy gobble them up. Great gazebo with beer and snacks!

I could go on and on. The proshop guy was rude and acted like he was mad someone would interrupt him by paying for golf. Would never recommend anyone to play here.

My husband and I had a great time playing 18 holes at PawPaw! It was a beautiful fall day, course was in great shape, and the staff was very helpful! We loved the views and variety of the course layout. Loved the par three down to the lake!! We were visiting "up north" from indiana, but we will be back. Thanks, golfnow, for a good price!

First impressions- small, musty pro shop, nothing inviting when entering the drive way or parking lot. Friendly, helpful staff. Older gas carts.

No 1 is rather dull looking par 3. The grounds are rough looking for the first few holes.

Wouldn't go out of my way to play again.

We had a family outing at this course and had a great time. Not too busy and a well-groomed course. Great value for the money in an area that has lots of championship courses at championship prices. This is a throwback to the days when you didn't have to break the bank just to get in a round of golf. Marcus the starter is a great guy. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

This was my first time out to Paw Paw Lake GC and I didn't really know what to expect. The club house doesn't look like much and the first two holes make you feel like you are playing golf in someone's back yard. But, once you get to hole 3 the feel of the course changes. This course has some beautiful views and well maintained holes. Course layout is kinda funny and you will have to look at your score card to figure out where the next hole is a few times. Overall a pleasant experience and well worth the "hot deal" price we got!!

My husband and I are fast players and played this course in 3 hours, for women it's a joy because there are a couple of drivable greens, it's a fun and scenic course, we try to play it at least once a year because it's an hour drive. For your money it's worth the trip and a easy course .

The staff here was beyond friendly. The course was in great shape and features some fun holes and great views. Would definitely play again.
