The 12th tee box. The hole is a sharp dog leg right. Slicers have a chance to turn the corner. Draws need to control length to not be in the corner bunker. Photo submitted by norm9602536 on 10/26/2015

NIce Course, Great Value
I played with a friend after a couple of days of heavy rain; the course was still a bit soggy, but overall in great shape, well maintained, excellent greens. It's a sneaky course, doesn't seem too tough but runs long and has some challenging greens. Staff was super friendly and the hot deal was great, well worth the money--only complaint is that they only stocked commercial beer--let's support local Michigan breweries!!
Good place to golf
Course is nice, but like most courses in Michigan the fairways and greens aren't perfect , but I've played here before and the course was always in excellent
Shape and the all the staff is top notch
Great Course
Great course. Good for beginners and advanced players. The course plays a lot longer than posted with multiple dog legs (left/right), with forced carries/layups from fairway creeks and bunkers. The fairways are wide but overhanging trees can create difficult/creative shots.
Great Course
Course was in great condition despite all the recent rain. A few greens need attention in spots for smoothness but they rolled great anyway!
Very poorly maintained
We played on a beautiful fall day. Welcome was nice, and they have impressive new electric carts with auto brakes. The trouble began when we teed off. There are large areas of fairway and rough that are muddy, underwater and under repair. But more problematic were the leaves. I realize it is fall in Michigan, but this is the third round this week, and the other 2 courses we played were in much better shape - one of them flawless. Both of those were public courses as well. It was obvious that nobody had cleaned up the leaves here, and not only was every inch of rough covered, all of the fairways had leaves scattered everywhere, and many of them had DRIFTS of leaves right across the fairway. I would estimate that between the three of us, we lost about 20-25 balls on the fairway in 12 holes. The 11th and 12th and 13th holes were basically covered in leaves everywhere and we finally gave up on 13 - after having spent about 4 hours getting there. Pace of play was very slow, mostly because everybody was losing their ball on every shot. We were backed up behind at least 2 other foursomes and waited about 5 minutes to tee off on each hole. Never saw the starter except near the green on 9 where he let my wife look for her ball in the leaves for 5 minutes or so before telling her he had seen where it landed. Not very friendly. On the other hand, the clubhouse is very nice, and we had an excellent shish kafta sandwich on the turn.
Fall Golf
Fall golf can be a challenge and this day was no exception...leaves, soggy conditions, etc. Shenendoah is a very nice facility overall - it's obvious it was once a private club and that feeling is present everywhere. Course layout not that impressive but there are some interesting and challenging holes and the course was in relatively good shape for Oct. - from tees to greens. The 2 nines are definitely contrasting - the front open and fairly straightaway and the back much tighter with a number of blind shot doglegs- you almost feel like you're playing 2 different courses. My biggest complaint is a lack of direction or course mapping anywhere, unless I was missing something. Nothing on the scorecard or cart or tee signs - I was actually using Google maps on my phone to look at each hole. Tee signs are very dark and difficult to read unless you are right on top of it, and not much direction to the next hole that isn' t obvious by following the cart path. 250 - 100 yd markers are flat markers in the fairway and lines on the cart path - nothing visible from the tee and adding to the guesswork. I'm probably being picky, so overall, a very nice course and great value on Golf Now.
Great course
Had a great day on the course. Well maintained (some of the best bunkers I've seen in the region), greens well taken care of. Staff exceptionally friendly, great facility. Excellent value as well. Would recommend.
Shenandoah Country Club
Good course design and green was difficult. I really enjoyed it.
Some places were partially wet, but totally good condition.
Not crowded in the morning and the price is reasonable in this season.
very nice, new club House and convention center
Some fairways were a little wet due to the rain we had. They are working to correct it.
Great Place to learn and play
I really enjoy Shenandoah's golf course. Its usually in great condition. The course can be very challenging from the blue tees. There a ton of elevated tees that provide a nice view point of the course.
Providing there is no rain, the bunkers are in great condition. Course management is key to scoring well at this course. A few greens had some damage earlier in the year but they are rolling nice and smooth now.
Nice range and practice area, they recently added a larger chipping/putting green and bunker next to the range. There are two putting greens near tee's 1 &10.
Beautiful club! The mixed grill has a nice affordable menu.
