A Hidden Golf Gem
Tipsinah Mounds golf course is a fantastic course in great shape! The fall time of year is a great time to enjoy the colors along with a great round of golf. I would recommend it anytime of the year!
Great service, friendly people and no pushover. It might be average length but you need some skill to get around. The second hole, short par three played a club longer that you’d think and the pin was on a ledge. Bogey!
It was early in the season and kind of cold and windy, so I was one of two out on the course. It was great to be out golfing again after this long winter. I was able to cruise through my round in about two hours. Would definitely golf here again!
Play this course!
Great value. Just opened for the season, course was in great shape! Greens rolled very nIce. Fun course to play. Tonya was very helpful. Katie in the shop was very pleasant, friendly and had a very understanding attitude!
We will be back!!!
Fun for all levels of players
Was in the area for a wedding, and not familiar with the courses in the area.
Golfnow had a deal, to good to pass up, and I am pleased I purchased.
Wide rolling fairways gives all levels of players the opportunity to be in good position off the tee.
Very large undulating greens will give a good striker of the golf ball, lots of looks at birdie.
From the back tees, the course can play long and work the back half of your bag, the white tees will have you drooling with wedges in hand.
Par 3's are all challenging and make the par 70 more on the difficult side of the spectrum
Conditions of the course were stellar- lush fairways-clean tee boxes- and receptive greens.
Worth the visit and a great alternative to the resort courses in the area
I thought the course was unbelievably beautiful. Great staff and the greens and fairways were in great shape. Love the layout will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone else. I wish it was closer to our place.
I was heading home from a conference in Fargo and decided to try this course as it was just a few miles off of I-94. There were maybe a dozen cars in the lot when I arrived around noon. A larger group arrived around the same time, but the nice young lady working assured me that I could tee off before them. I finished in just over two hours for all 18 holes. The course has a variety of holes so you will need most or all of your clubs. The sand was immaculate and the fairways were cut consistently. A great value for the conditions of the course.
Best course in the area.
This is a very well kept course. New golf carts and very friendly staff.
We had a really fun day! We definitely recommend Tipsinah Mounds, great shape and interesting track.
Hidden Gem of the Upper Midwest
Over exceeded my expectations from the 'get go'. 1st time playing and will be back
numerous times ! Very NICE G.C. Kudos to the Course Groundskeeper and his staff.
Very friendly employee (lady) in the Pro Shop! I was on the 1st Tee within minutes
of leaving the Shop. Cart was awesome, and the trails were marked (on the path
itself, great idea) extremely well. 90 degree rule with cart followed. Fairways well groomed with good lies all around. If you haven't played this course, YOU NEED TO!
White tees provided enough challenge for me... Blues were mild, with not much extra yardage on each hole. Driving range also available, which I used after my 18 !
Fun course and great for vacation golf
Extremely well maintained course and facilities. I've been playing this course yearly for 12 years during vacations to the area, and every year is a treat. Staff and grounds crew and very friendly. We tee off around 7am and are usually the only people on the course, which makes for a fast and enjoyable round. unique landscaping adds challenges to not a particularly long course. Excellent greens and maintenance of fairways and rough
well maintained, great value.
found great deal on Golf Now for Tipsinah Mounds - not far off I94 in west-central Minnesota. Well maintained, good pace of play (slow players enjoying "cocktail rounds" were polite and let us play through). Tremendous value.
Greens were in excellent shape, and course was maintained perfectly.
