Could have been much better
I liked the course layout, especially for a nine-hole course, as it offered a good mix of long and short holes. Being right up against the airport fence on the first through third holes was novel at first but it wore off quickly as it was very loud. My biggest complaint by far was the condition of the course. The fairways were playable, but the greens were pretty dirty while the rough was VERY long, from the first cut and beyond. Finding golf balls that left the fairways was incredibly difficult until you were standing right on top of the ball, which obviously slowed the pace of play down. For the amount paid, there are much better courses in the same area, and I recommend booking there instead.
Great day
It was a beautiful day. There was a great deal for my 10-year-old to golf with me. Great flow great pace. Course must’ve just been recently manicured so everything was wonderful.
Casual and fun 9-hole course
I really liked playing here and Diane who welcomed us was an absolute sweetheart. It’s a simple course with a variety of long holes and short holes, very walkable. Some of the greens were in the best shape I’ve seen all year from other courses (and this cost me a fraction to play comparatively). Despite being next to the airport it honestly made it kind of fun! Definitely would come back here to play again.
GOLFNOW Price is too much
The 9 hole course at Fort Snelling is well kept and a relaxing round. Many retirees play this course and the pace is slow but relaxing. Carts are not necessary unless trouble walking. Staff was very friendly. The down side is that I overpaid using GolfNow by at least 2X. I could have walked up and paid so much less. Lesson learned.
Good course & great value
The course presents an excellent challenge for beginners to intermediate golfers…Nicely layed out & always in good condition
Worst course ever
I made a tee time only to arrive at the course to find out the course doesn’t take tee times, first come first serve! Quit after 4 holes and almost 2 hours! Conditions were awful, no distinction between fairway or rough. Next to airport so planes taking off every few minutes. Bad
Did not honor tee time and terrible course conditions
The clubhouse said it is first come first served, yet I paid $10.80 for a tee time. Terrible course conditions!
Website scam
Golf Now is a scam. Do not make a reservation. The local courses are completely unaware of this system. I've tried canceling and they have no contact #. They just take your money and walk away.
Terrible.
This course would be wonderful if it was actually taken care of. Rough grass is ridiculously long , can’t find a ball even after looking for 5 min. Fairways are HARD lost more balls simply by them rolling through the fairway into the road that surrounds the entire course. The greens are PITIFUL. Dead spots on every single hole.

This course does not take online reservations!! Do not book through GolfNow, the course will not honor your tee time.
After booked a noon tee-time online through GolfNow, we showed up to the course only to find out that the course was closed for a private event from 10am - 2pm. The man working the clubhouse informed us that this course does not do any online booking and does not honor GolfNow bookings.
I am contacting GolfNow to try to have this course removed to avoid future confusion, but for now please reserve booking through GolfNow to save yourself the trouble!
avoid the place...
seriously, This was a dump. If you like dandelions, clover and weeds for the fairway then you'll love it. the whole house including the greens are just weeds moved to different levels. I would not play here again even if it was free
