Fort Snelling Golf Course

it was a round for 2 people that is the reason for the cost otherwise very affordable and the play is first come first server.

The Fort Snelling golf course was fantastic for a nine-hole course. While it was not incredibly demanding, it provided a normal level of challenge. The greens were perfect, and the rest of the course was similar to all the other public Minneapolis golf courses. I had a great time there!

Overall the course isn't in pristine shape, but the greens and fairways were pretty good. For some reason there were very few players on the course and I had no waiting or pressure. Golfpass made my round nearly free. The staff person was friendly and helpful. I like the layout, which is open enough for novice golfers but long enough for intermediate players.

I liked the course layout, especially for a nine-hole course, as it offered a good mix of long and short holes. Being right up against the airport fence on the first through third holes was novel at first but it wore off quickly as it was very loud. My biggest complaint by far was the condition of the course. The fairways were playable, but the greens were pretty dirty while the rough was VERY long, from the first cut and beyond. Finding golf balls that left the fairways was incredibly difficult until you were standing right on top of the ball, which obviously slowed the pace of play down. For the amount paid, there are much better courses in the same area, and I recommend booking there instead.

It was a beautiful day. There was a great deal for my 10-year-old to golf with me. Great flow great pace. Course must’ve just been recently manicured so everything was wonderful.

1st time here. I think I will walk next time.

I really liked playing here and Diane who welcomed us was an absolute sweetheart. It’s a simple course with a variety of long holes and short holes, very walkable. Some of the greens were in the best shape I’ve seen all year from other courses (and this cost me a fraction to play comparatively). Despite being next to the airport it honestly made it kind of fun! Definitely would come back here to play again.

The 9 hole course at Fort Snelling is well kept and a relaxing round. Many retirees play this course and the pace is slow but relaxing. Carts are not necessary unless trouble walking. Staff was very friendly. The down side is that I overpaid using GolfNow by at least 2X. I could have walked up and paid so much less. Lesson learned.

The course presents an excellent challenge for beginners to intermediate golfers…Nicely layed out & always in good condition

I made a tee time only to arrive at the course to find out the course doesn’t take tee times, first come first serve! Quit after 4 holes and almost 2 hours! Conditions were awful, no distinction between fairway or rough. Next to airport so planes taking off every few minutes. Bad

The clubhouse said it is first come first served, yet I paid $10.80 for a tee time. Terrible course conditions!

Golf Now is a scam. Do not make a reservation. The local courses are completely unaware of this system. I've tried canceling and they have no contact #. They just take your money and walk away.
