This Course Is In Excellent Shape but...
The course is in excellent shape but they need to stop messing with it. Scaling back fairway widths, making holes longer, and having every tee back and every pin cemented to the very edge of every green isn’t making the average golfer want to come.
Nice municpal course
My friend and I played very early on a Saturday morning. We were the 2nd group to tee off for the day. It got busy behind us, but we never felt rushed. The course is well maintained and quite pretty during the Spring. The greens were freshly cut, but did run slow. We really enjoyed it.
Fun little track
I played this course as a single while I was traveling on the road. First off, I made the tee time two hours before I played and was going to be a couple minutes late, so I called the course and they said no problem. And it wasn't.
The course is kind of short but it's hilly, and has nice greens with steep slopes. I joined a twosome and since they were walking, I ditched the cart, and used my click gear. We had a great time, I played pretty well and the company was great.
It's the perfect course for that quick value golf round while you're on the road to break up the trip.
Great course for the price!
Cape Jaycee is a delightful par 70, that has a healthy mixture of challenging and easier holes. It is great for beginners or anyone who would like a relaxing round! The fairways are forgiving and it is difficult to lose balls in the rough (thankfully). Overall a great course for a great price!
Very nice course
Nice course and in excellent shape for the middle of summer. You can't bring your own cooler on the course. They require you to rent one of theirs. Other that that, overall nice course.
A very pleasant surprise
I imagined a poorly kept course because of it's location and that it's a public course. I very nicely surprised. Great course, good signs, great staff. No driving range, just a couple of nets to hit into is the only drawback.

this place is bad. the layout sucks. you can get hit about 9 times from other tee boxs..
The flags are always set crooked.
Small course
Apparently 2 players were complaining about the pace of play. We were behind a threesome and the pace was fine. We only waited a few times for maybe 5 minutes.
