Great Course Walking or Riding
Creve Coeur Golf Course is a fun (very walkable) layout that is perfect for a quick 9 or 18 holes. The staff and grounds crew at Creve Coeur do an excellent job making the course as nice as most others in the St Louis area and the great conditions of their fairways and greens make the game more fun. Great Nine Hole course
We love to play Creve Coeur golf course because it's a very challenging course with 4 water holes! The green fee is reasonable and it's a great workout to walk due to the rolling hills.
Challenging 9 Hole Course
This course is a very challenging 9 hole course that has rollings hills and water. It's a reat workout to walk!
Great 9 hole course
Always a pleasure to play: great tee boxes, drains well after rain, greens excellent! Reasonable fares.
Best layout and conditions for a 9 hole municipal course
Convenient Challenge
I lived in St. Louis for 7 years but have not played here since the week of the PGA Championship at Bellreive. No sand on the course, and one short par 5 but with a water carry is usually a 3 shot hole. Tight course and fun to play. 4th hole is the hardest at 420 up hill off the tee to a severely sloping green. Par is a really good score on that hole. I liked to walk the course early in the morning and could cruise through in 90 minutes with no one in front of me. Only issue is that as a public course it can get slow later in the day. Blind tee shots on 3 and 6 sometimes can slow you down. The water carries on 5 and 6 can also slow things a little but drop areas located over the hazard to help with that.
Last is a par three down hill to a two tier green and a tree guarding the upper tier. tough two putt if coming from lower to upper level. Nice way to end the round. There are a couple water holes (and carries), tight sloping fairways, and a number of tough greens to read to round out the track. Looks like a breeze but will bite you it you are not controlling your ball.
Quick and Fun
Great nine hole course. Not too easy, but not too hard. Excellent value and a great opportunity for anyone to get away for a quick nine holes. Course is well maintained and the staff are great.
Great Muny Course!
Always in great shape and fun to play! Can get a quick nine in less than two hours.
Love this course
They have some of the best greens in St Louis. Played on a Monday morning , no rush ,just an enjoyable game of golf. Sorry this is the last time this year that I can play golf there.
Best in the county
This is still the best muni course in the St. Louis area. From tee boxes to fairways to greens everything was in prime condition.
Nice Course will play again
This is a nice course. I would reccomend for all levels of golfers. A little pricey for nine holes.
Course was well maintained. Keep the ball in rhe fairway. Roughs were thick in some places.
Nice folks working there and nice folks playing golf.
