Hot and Humid Nine
Great course to play. Tight and challenging fairways with thick tall rough on the second cut. Hit them straight and you have a chance at Par.
I’ll play it again, maybe a cart and 18 holes. Or walk 9 again.
Hidden Gem
I played this for the first time a couple weeks ago and was super impressed by it. It’s a little hidden gem around the chesterfield area. The greens and fairways are in phenomenal shape and cut to the perfect length. I do wish you could drive on the fairways but unfortunately it’s cart path only on all holes. It makes it a bit harder to find your ball if you’re just in the rough off the fairway. Other than that, no complaints and will definitely be coming back consistently.
Challenging course at a great price
You will need every club in your bag. Course is a blast!
Great for all levels
Beautiful course, friendly staff, challenges but not defeating for beginners.
Much improved course
Wet windy day. Course much improved over last season, fairways and greens better. Staff says it will be cart path only for remainder of season.
Good if not full price
I have played here several times and it has been a fun and nice course to play. I think the price is a little high compared to similar courses around. The nice part is it always seem to have lots of tee times open and you get great pace of play.
Ok Course
It’s ok if you’re desperate for a round of golf. The staff is friendly and the layout is good. The course conditions are definitely in need of improvement. All greens are patchy and horrible. Fairways are rough. Overall golf is golf but the price for the course is too high.
Worst Course in STL
You are better off lighting your money on fire than going to this course. $62 for 9 holes with a cart??? This course is in the most BRUTAL condition. Half the greens are dying with dirt patches, the fairways are also half dirt, it’s so bad. They should have to pay you to play this course.
Just don’t….
I played a course that was $12 for 9 holes the week prior and it was better shape than this course. I would say 50 percent of the fairways are dirt on most of the holes. Spotty patches of grass around where you almost had to drop your ball after each drive. The greens were in better shape but they absolutely soaked them prior to golfing. They were so wet the ball was leaving a water trail and holes 6-9 the cup was literally filled with water. It hadn’t rained.
Better than expected
Despite the conditions of the grass on most holes, you could see the effort was being made to fix it. And even though it’s only 9 holes. They’re laid out nicely and pose some good chances to test your skills.
Worst conditions I’ve ever seen on a golf course
This course was in terrible condition. I’ve never seen a golf course in such horrid shape. There were only 3-4 fairways with any type of grass in them at all, and most of that was crabgrass. The course was literally just dirt, no exaggeration. The greens don’t look like they’ve been mowed in a week or longer and they were covered in standing water (we are in a drought right now, so it’s not from rain). Multiple greens were 30-60% just sand or dirt.
I understand courses having trouble staying in good shape this time of year, but this course shouldn’t even be open for play.
The worst part is, they’re still charging FULL PRICE and they gave ZERO warnings on the course being destroyed.
I wouldn’t pay $5 to play this course, and no matter how good they get this course, I will never play there again and I will tell everyone I know about the experience I had.
Not great
It’s an alright layout with poor fairways and greens. It’s very expensive for what it is
Grass is not Green
The Golf is well designed but the grass on the course is brown, maybe due to the weather but it makes it less fun to play on a course where half the course has brown grass.
