Nice course for a quick 9 hole round.
Price is okay for 9 holes. Some fairways are in very rough shape, but the greens were perfect, smooth and fast, even after a recent rain. The rough was thick and well maintained. I generally play the white tees on other courses, but at Creve Coeur I play the blue tees. $19 for non-resident (no cart) is a fair price based on location. I pay $40 for 18 with a Senior rate at some very nice courses, but they are further away, Would like to see some focus to fix the fairways especially on 3 and 5.
Best Value in Town
Great condition for this time of year. Young man at check-in was friendly, helpful and courteous. Pace was good as it is not always this way. Very challenging layout, despote lack of sand and more water.
Thank you for providing a great opportunity for all in the area!
Creve Coeur Golf Course
Creve Coeur Golf Course is one of the best nine-hole courses in the St. Louis area. The greens are excellent, the course is challenging, and they have affordable deals. I thoroughly enjoy golfing at this course.
Very hilly layout
Played there for only the second time ever. Usually I like to walk when only playing nine holes, but I took a cart as it is quite hilly.
First off, the greens were in excellent shape. Appeared as if they had been punched a while ago and recovered very nicely. They are quite large but have a ton of slope to them.
Hasn’t rained in the area at all so the fairways rolled forever. I nearly drove the first green and hit my tee shot all the way down the hill on #6. The fairways are also slanted and it is rare that you get a flat lie. In addition, many fairways run closely parallel to others and plenty of stray shots landed near us, so be aware.
The second green is just in front of the parking lot so don’t go long there. Meanwhile the par-3 ninth green is right next to a busy road, so don’t go left! Holes 5 and 6 have approach shots that are forced carries over water. Could be challenging for less skilled players.
The course is pretty short without a big difference between black and blue tees, as they were both around 3,000 yards. However, the reds were at 2,400 so it would be beneficial to have something in between.
All in all, a fun nine-hole muni to play.
Gorgeously green greens!
Love the greens , just don’t like how hilly the course is - hard to get a flat lie unless you always hit perfectly straight. Did like how the ball rolled a ton after hitting a good ball off the tee.
