Good Value
Course was in fine shape, however front nine was closed due to greens being new and management wanting to rest them.
home town course
This will be a great surprise for anyone coming to play for the 1st time. Nice greens, nice fairways overall very nice course. You will find it very nice to look at.
The layout is not just back and forth. It will keep you on your toes the 1st time through.
Come play it and have a great time!!
Great course as long as you don't need to go!
This is probably my favorite course to play. The only knock I have on the facilities was that there was now water avalible on the course anywhere and only one restroom available.
Amazing condition for city owned course.
This is a course that I will definitely go back to as often as I can. It's short but requires accuracy and shot making. Considering the heat and lack of rain over the past couple of weeks it was in excellent condition. Hope the city of Monett knows what an adept superintendent they have!
Windmill Ridge
This course is in outstanding shape. The fairways and greens are spectacular and the superintendent has done a great job.
Rain
Couse is taking a lot of water and staff is working hard to keep the course up. It was a little hard for me to walk alot because i am disabled. But that wasn't the courses fault. The grass off the fairways are tough heavy grass which this makes the course very challenging over all i enjoy playing thier
Love love love this course!!
Ive been playing here for 2 years and i love this course. Ive never had any complaints. The only thing i have an issue with is they have a dress code
great shape
The fairways & greens were great, most bunkers were washed out from all the rain, didn't look like any attempt to repair them. rough was long, best to stay in the fairway if you can.
Nice course for nice price
Staff courteous and helpful. Carts in good shape. Course in good shape for this time of year in this area.
Was an hour from home, but will go back again.
1st round of the year. A bit rusty and apprehensive about my swing, but made a respectful amount of golf shots. Greens were in excellent shape, as were the bunkers. Fairways still have the winter grass..but I'm sure they will start to green up soon. Only back 9 is open, but that is the more challenging of the course. Made a couple of rewarding pars that will bring me back. But then again, I would be back anyway because I love golf...and it's a sport that I can still do at 71 years of age. It's a nice, challenging set-up, and I enjoy the elevation changes. I recommend this course.
Hidden gem
I grew up playing this course before it turned to 18 holes. I moved away and came back to the area. It has improved tremendously. This course has a Branson course feel on the new 9 with a challenging tight layout on the old nine. For under 15 bucks on golf now this course is worth every penny. Great layout, good greens, and overall very well maintained. If this course we're in Springfield or Branson they would easily charge 40-60 dollars. It's worth the trip, enjoy!
No water on the course.
Make sure to bring your own drinking water because there is no water available on the course. The water fountains are also inoperable.
Worth the time.
Course is currently in outstanding shape with the weather we have had here in this part of the country. Greens roll fast and true. Fun was had by all.
Impressive course!!!
Turning into the property I was impressed by the contrasting green shades and heights of grass. I thought I was pulling in to an elite country club course. When I started play it was obvious the grounds personnel and the greens keeper were tops in their class. The fairways were cut to the height that you could sweep or take a divot with confidence. The roughs were thick, about 3 inches high but consistent around the greens and off the landing areas. The front side played like a traditional tree lined course and the back side on several holes resembled a hilly links course. Ken in the Pro Shop was great. This now has become my favorite course in S. W. Missouri.
Excellent! !!
For a country course course was amazing. Despite a fairly short yardage course was very challenging but fun. I only live an hour away so will be playing very frequently.
A great golf outing.
This course is a combination of an older 9 hole course(the front) and a newly designed back 9. The older course is a lot of fun although the greens are mostly pretty small. The back is a very nice variation. No two holes play alike. Lots of change in them. Greens set up on a ridge, down at the end of a flat turning fairway, set below an elevated tee, protected by bunkers. Greens were in great shape. No place to get lunch was a drawback.. ...but for the money I dont think you can beat the value! I'll be back.
