Greens are terrible!
When we arrived I noticed a sign that said
“ some greens under repair”.
When we checked in, the lady in pro shop could have cared less, didn’t say anything about the green or offer a reduced rate. Guess we were bothering her.
The course is a fun layout, Fairways we great, but greens were unputtable. Only 4 could be putted on.
Sad it could have been a fun round.
First time playing this course
I was surprised the greens were in very poor shape. I recommend using a gps that indicates hazards and distances to clear hazards. There is a lot of water were you wouldn't expect it and several fairways have two creeks flowing through the middle of the fairways.
Unplayable Greens
This is one of my favorite layouts in the area but they have completely lost the greens. They are literally unplayable. More than half the greens are covered with brown patches with no grass. If you don’t care about putting then the rest of the course is fine. Outrageous the price charged until these are fixed.
Ball eater creeks and ditched
Usually loose a few balls because of the creeks and ditches. Fun course
Great course!
Great course to play at any time of day. It gives you a challenge as well as keeps you thinking at where to place your shots. Fairways are really fast so it’s a good choice to lay up so the ball rolls onto the green. Greens were great except for a few in the back nine. Overall, it’s a great course to play at any time of the day!
Will play again.
Poor course conditions
The courses in poor conditions, there are half a dozen greens with major dead spots and the fairways are patchy.
Horrible conditions!
Grounds are terrible. The ball kicks up a cloud of dust when it lands on the fairway. There are already drought cracks everywhere and the greens look like they’ve got mange. Get used to playing through sprinklers because the grounds crew turns them on in front of you (not sure why because it’s like playing on concrete).
Great experience!
Can’t beat view of Beartooth Mountains in background. Course was in great shape. In my top 10.
Too many water hazards
There were water hazards everywhere...man made creeks...ponds meh...not a very walking friendly course...15th green was cool...saving grace was that it was a free round
Too much random water
The course is beautiful but I feel it was over designed.. tons of random water hazards in bad spots. Followed by a ton of wind made the course so annoying at times. They are man made creeks and ponds. It would have been a terrible course to walk. Very odd layout. Not my favorite.
