Valley View Golf Club

Took a cart and played 18 in perfect weather today. Played along with 2 other singles and we stayed 6 feet apart but still had a good time together. Staff was pleasant and I enjoyed myself to the hilt. Shot a 94 but still had fun.

Paid for cart only using my Big Red Golf Pass.

Its early season golf, so the roughs were very forgiving, Conditions will get better as the year progresses.

Funky is the best way to describe this course. It is very short, but it is defensed by sharp doglegs, tiny greens and blind tee shots. I only used driver on the two par 5's.

The front is pretty well laid out, the back not so much. Pay attention going from 12-13-14,

The staff was very friendly and we were able to get a fantastic drink after our round.

Overall it was a nice course that I will play again.

Staff got me all set up. I enjoyed my round. Front 9 by myself. Back 9 was a bit slower but I hooked up with another rider and we played in. Maintenance guy yelled at me for driving my cart too close to a green. He should have said it nicer. It was my first time there. Had a few great shots and some real poor one's but it's on me and not the course. 30 minutes away so I may not drive that far again, but if you live close to Fremont, I would recommend the course.

Wow this course really blew me away. Yeah i read the reviews but by no means was it trashy. Some greens are rough but your just made cause your putting bogey by the time you got on. This isn’t your stone creek pacific springs style course in looks but what it lacks in looks it’s blows away in character. The course layout and overall challenge was one of the coolest I’ve seen around, on the backside for sure. Lots of dog legs left and right blind shots uphill downhill it has it all. Kevin and the staff were amazing I will for sure go back. Don’t expect a pristine style course but for sure expect a fun and challenging round with the crew. Thanks Kevin 5 stars buddy. I shot a 90 can you do better or you gonna wine about the fairway length?

Tee Boxes: not mowed, uneven, multiple oversized divots for an early AM tee time.

Fairways: Nonexistent as 3/4 of fairways were mowed to same cut as rough and tee boxes.

Greens: In fairly good condition. Had a few fringes and spots on greens unplayable as large patches of grass were missing.

Layout: Back 9 was a bit confusing and order of play didn't make the most sense; but was able to follow.

Tee boxes could have at least been mowed down so your not feeling like your playing out of the rough, lay out of the course was good a very challenging play due to fairways and roughs basically playing the same

We played 18 holes on a Saturday. The pace is good and the staff is friendly/accommodating. The only thing I would change about the course would be the layout. It felt like I was hitting too close to other tee boxes on several holes. We had a good time and I will be returning on multiple occasions in the future.

Tee Box, fairways, and greens were in bad condition. Even if you hit the ball down the middle, you can still lose the ball due to fairway grass being too long. Jeannie at the clubhouse was very friendly and personable. She was the best part of our round.

A great place to work on your game. Very little waiting to play the next hole an no back pressure. Course is rough in places but for the price can not be beaten.

I really like the 18 hole track. Some challenging holes and testy shots. What I don’t like is, the ‘fairways’ were weedy, taller than most roughs I’ve played in and mowed poorly. I’d play it again, but only as a GolfNow Hot Deal @ $11/round.

The fairways had not been mowed in some time - we spent most of our time looking for our balls in the fairway. The greens were is various states from really crappy to just crappy - When we said something to the manager they said they mower guy quit and and since we had used Golf Now we didn't deserve any break...

We will never be back

The course still needed some cleanup after winter. For the money, you can’t beat this place. The staff were real friendly and hospitable. Definitely will play it again.

The course was virtually unplayable. fairways were as tall as most roughs. Seems the course is not well maintained. I understan that October golf in the midwest means leaves, but the course itself was just in bad shape. The back nine played like the add-on that it is. Had high hopes, but won't be back.

We only paid $20, so that being said, it was a fair value. #10 really needs a lot of work to reduce some of the trees ( no room through them to fairway). #16 also needs to be cleaned up and show a diagram of hole). Lots of water grass all over the course. Had fun but except a great course.
