Hidden Valley Golf Club

Course is in good shape, greens are in great shape improvements to course are noticeable. I have recently played with a former employee of the course, a person that plays about 36 holes a day and someone who hadn't played there in years. Everyone was impressed with the course and the improvements made since the ol' "Hidden Ditch" days. I play about once or twice a week here and have not had a bad time yet. I still have not seen a drink cart...

Have played this course many times. Would not hesitate to recommend it. Friendly staff, great conditions, and fun, yet challenging set up.

If you were t right in the fairway you may as well drop another ball because the rough was so deep. It was ridiculous. Staff was great, but no beverage cart on a hot day, and it was a Sunday.

Hidden Valley is a decent little course, but make sure you are not paying full price. The layout is quirky and the greens are not true (based upon years of playing there, not one day). The driving range is a shade over 200 yards, so keep the driver in the bAg.

The conditions are good currently, it's not over crowded and beer is cheap!

The wholesale are a little spread out so it takes a little longer to play. Great course for the price.

Difficult roughs make hitting the fairways essential.

I play Hidden Valley at least once every other week if not more. Hidden Valley is consistently good for the what they charge to come out. Not the fanciest course, grasses, design, etc., but arguably some of the most challenging greens in town. Greens have a lot of shape to them, and are all relatively small, requiring precise approach shots. Rough tends to be thick, leading to losing balls from time to time when your ball finds the rough. Lots of elevation change, very long course if walked. Best played on weekday afternoons/evenings. Tends to get extremely stacked up on weekend afternoons especially and due to the value, you tend to encounter slower/less avid golfers who often slow down pace of play on weekends. Overall, would definitely recommend and will continue to find my way out there on a bi-weekly basis at least!

Fairways had not been mowed for at least a week and same with greens on the front nine. Back nine fairedys the same. Greens better but only slightly. A mower and some TLC is what it needs.

Clumps of cut grass on greens, fairways and rough. They do have a couple of cheap tee times available and their pro shop staff is always very friendly. But, the course is not maintained well and the maintenance staff is not considerate to the players.

Course wasn't in great shape but the staff was friendly and we golfed 18 with a cart for just $20! Can't beat that anywhere. Lots of different holes and makes you use all your clubs.

Great course for value. Great staff with good food and beverage options. Course is fun and you'll use every club in your bag.

We had a great time, course was harder than we thought, but was fun. lots of challenging holes. Cant wait to go back and play again.

Great value booking through golf now. Course conditions were good for the time of year. Staff very friendly and helpful as always. the gentleman in the clubhouse, pro is probably the nicest in town.

Course was in ok shape. It is early in the year so there was a lot of light spots on the fairway. The greens are very small.

this course was in trouble last year and they have improved it tremendously! Very green, clean, rough was deep though. Greens were in good shape even with recent aeriation. Incrdible value through golf now on a "Hot Deal".

The rough was so thick that you couldn't find balls that were 5 yards off the fairway.this slowed the pace down to a halt. I'm all for rewarding fairways hit but it isn't supposed to be U.S. Open conditions for the average golfer.

I was very pleased woth the challenge and layout. Excited to play it again now that I have seen it once. Very pleased.

It appears as though there was little effort to build greens resulting in several on the sides of hills w/ severe slopes. Not a fan of pin placements where it's virtually impossible to stop the ball from rolling.

Had a good time and since we teed off at 5:30 and were a two some, we skipped around the course when it would get backed up ahead of us. Actually only played about 14 holes, but it was still a good value for $20 per person with a cart.

Course was in terrible condition. Fairways were almost half length of first cut, like hitting out of short rough. Tee boxes had long grass also. The rough was so long you couldn't find your ball unless you were right over it. Every hole had this problem. Cart lady came only once. To many people booked on the course. Super slow pace.
Not even worth the $15 for 18 and a cart. Spent more in lost balls that rolled off of the fairway into the 2nd cut.
