Eldorado Hills Golf Club

Amazing course layout. That being said, greens were in okay condition — maybe 6/18 greens had significant damage but that’s expected. Fairways in superb condition. Overall great.

Overall Eldorado Hills is a GREAT Course. The Layout was not hard to follow. The Tee Boxes were marked Great. Fairways were in Great shape. A few Greens looked to have been recently sanded but overall nice shape. Will definitely return again and recommend to others.

Course was a little dry, grass clubs where it was mowed, but ok layout, par fives are last hole on each 9, other then that it was ok

Great round at El Dorado. Very quiet during the week if you are a looking for a peaceful afternoon off of work or just in general (granted it was raining for the first 5 holes). Never had to worry about people coming up behind me or running into people ahead of me. There were a few greens I played that seemed a tad overgrown, but the mowing crew was out all morning and so maybe they just hadn’t gotten to it yet. 16/18 greens were great. Great amenities and unfortunately, nice sand traps were used all day by me. But the quality of sand was great even when it was raining. Will be golfing there again this summer.

Let's start out with the good.

I only paid 13.5 because I used my Big Red Golf Tour book. I was the first one off today, so I never had to wait and never had someone pushing me.

The fairways were in pretty decent shape, although it wasn't uncommon to see large clumps of mowed grass in the rough. I would say that three of the greens were in unplayable shape and 6 others were in poor shape.

The layout is bizarre -- not unusual for a course built inside a housing development, If you play it for the first time, you will get lost -- they are not much for signs. The long par 5 is just that long. The fairway bunker on 18 looked like it hadn't been raked or tended to in a long long time.

I had called for a tee time in advance and no mention was made of the fact that 11 was unplayable due to a young golfer class. I am all in favor of the class, but at least let folks know what is going on.

If you are playing in or around Norfolk, I would recommend you find somewhere else to play.

Six of us played here in late September. The course was in great shape. Kay did an excellent job of meeting our needs. We enjoyed this fun course.

The course is challenging in its own sense. It has the hills but wide fairways, large greens, and tall trees. Second time I played it and it won't be the last.

A great golf outing. The staff was friendly and the course challenging. It has Nebraska's longest par 5 at over 600 yards. and then there is the brick oven pizza. A great time is to be had!
