Miracle Hill
Followed an outing. Very slow. No marshalls to help expedite play.
Nice Course
The staff was great.
The course was in great condition due to the weather Omaha has had the year.
Pace was a little slow, we had two in my group and followed two foursomes.
Otherwise I did like experience for my first time playing their.
Terrible cart paths and fairways
The majority of the cart paths need to be repaired, and the fairways were full of water and rutts. We were told to increase our play speed even though we were waiting on two groups ahead of us that were playing slow and we had to wait on them the first 5 holes, we finished the first 9 in 2 hours and 10 minutes, foursome pace is 2 hours and 5 minutes... they seemed to have plenty of maintainence staff but weren't doing much to help the course out
Excellent Golf Course for me
I started golfing three years ago at this golf course. Improvements all around the course have been steadily going forward each year. The staff have always been friendly and helpful to me. The Monday men's golf league is very enjoyable. The driving range is great for me. For me, this is the best value in the Omaha metropolitan area.
Nice course
The course was in great shape, the pace of play was very acceptable and the staff were very friendly and helpful
December Golf
Course was in good shape for December. Staff has always been friendly.Like the driving range.
Nice Day average course
There was a lot of water/mud spots that were not from the rain, a lot areas under repair and difficult to know where to run the card since there was not cart paths on all holes. Had good day anyway
Fun, straightforward course
A good place to play - very convenient and well maintained. I enjoyed my round- a great course for a beginner.
Frustrating day...
So this was the most frustrating day of golf I've had. Not because of playing bad, but because of slow play and maintenance workers all over the course. Took right at 5 hours for 2 of us to play 18. For about 9 of the holes there were tractors and mowers all over the hole. Our balls were ran over by mowers 3 different times and 1 time the guy spraying the fungicide sprayed over our balls while we were on the green. Hoses and tools laying all over the course. This was a mid day tee time on a weekday. I thought maintenance was done during non-operating hours, but i guess not at miracle hills.
Poor outing at Miracle Hill
First, we had to wait for a cart because they were having a golf outing that day and tee times were created right up against it.
Second, we had to go to the starter and ask if the carts coming in we ours and if we could tee off since we were now past our designated tee time.
Third, the pace of play was 2 hours and 45 minutes for the first nine because of sixsomes holding up the course.
Fourth, a single joined the twosome in front of us on the 8th hole. At the turn, another joined them (from the tourney) and this foursome kept us from completing the round in under 5 hours.
Finally, the course employees could care less about their patrons. This was the first and last time I will golf here.
Sprinklers?!?!
Grounds guy kept starting sprinklers ---had to play 4 holes through them
Course needs some work
Feels like you are playing the same hole over and over again. Some neat challenging holes but otherwise very repetitive. Most bunkers in horrible condition, as well as most cart paths (if you can even call it that).
Pretty Good
I thought for sure the course would be terrible after reading the other reviews but I took a chance and played it w/golfnow discount price.
I thought the course had a nice setup. The greens were receptive, they rolled nice. They don't have a lot of land to work with so the layout was a nice surprise. The rough was long but I believe that's by design. The greens were big, which I loved. The practice area was up to par. Very nice driving range. Every fairway is tree lined and most have fairway bunkers, some bunkers are under construction. I get why that'd make for some bad reviews, and I agree they have work to do out there but I was lucky and avoided the traps. People need to remember they are a hazard. The fairways were in excellent condition. The only complaint I have is the slow play, but every time I'm in Omaha during the weekend it's that busy everywhere I go. So the wait time wasn't a big surprise.
Overall I was pleased with my experience and would book again thru GolfNow.
The New Knolls??
The condition of this course is an absolute disgrace! The new owners should be ashamed! The bunkers are full of weeds, tee boxes are well overgrown and the cart paths are full of deep craters.
Don't waste your time or money playing here. The new owners obviously just wanted a status symbol after selling their company name (West Corp).
Miracle Hills USED to be very enjoyable but now you need to plan for a 5 1/2 hour round and a lot of head shaking. At many times you will have 3 groups per hole on the front 9 due to the lack or knowledge this place has in operating a golf course.
Good luck finding shots in their unmaintained grass!!
invest in your business
Sand traps some were being worked on some were weeds. It was a Saturday they allow walkers with riders 2 somes four somes backed up several holes.
Beer and drink prices higher than average. Greens OK ruts everywhere Course needs a drainage system.
Their are much nices courses for same price in Omaha or CB.
