Beautiful course the plays amazing. Can't say enough great things about this course. An ideal course for someone learning the game with an experienced group.
B U M P. bump. B U M P Y
My first time playing here - I play many if the southern nh courses and wanted to try it. While the course has a nice layout the routing is strange Holes 7- 9 notably.
We where sent off the first tee (10th) and it was not an enjoyable experience. The starter didn't pace the groups leaving us with long waits while a ranger was no where to be seen- result a 4:40 hour round on a Friday.
The next was their greens- while the have grass and where punched in the past week the greens where variable and very bumpy. To the point it made putting a guessing game. My partner who has played the course before said the course has always had bumpy greens. For 42 dollars walking. Go to Souhegan or passaconaway their greens are much better!
We also had maintenance constantly working around us. I will not be going back- mostly because of the greens
Challenging... but enjoyable
First off.... this course follows a river... and should you have a errant shot...well.... just drop another ball and hit again.... because you will probably not find it.
Greens were nice and required a second look before putting... but if you play good irons you should be fine.
19th hole was OK... cart people attentive.
Great and challenging course
As a 14 hdp player enjoy playing this course anytime I am in the Manchester area. Always play with my wife, but have been paired with a member on occasion, and always felt welcome.
Challenging course with several doglegs. Green are bent grass, and can be quite fast.
