Nice course
Enjoy playing Cedar Creek. No pressure, nice course and challenging. Plus it's close to home!
Could be better
Course was pretty swampy and fairways were pretty chewed up.
Pace was ridiculously slow. Over booked and players had minimum golf etiquette.
Five hours for a threesome and we didn’t get to finish.
Good Round, Grounds need work
Great layout but the fairways and greens could use some work. I know its October but the fairways were covered in weeds for the most part. Greens were good with some craters here and there, nothing crazy. Friendly staff and decent carts.
Bad Atmosphere Leads to Bad Experience
The course is a over average. The greens are maintained well and the fairways are slowly dying but that is mostly due to it being Fall. The back 9 did have a bad problem with mud near the lake/ pond but that’s expected.
The big problem I had was the pace of play and the people on the course. The staff didn’t look like they cared, but there were a few that tried to take their job seriously. The big thing was the stupidity of the other people on the course. People were taking their sweet time on the course, not repairing divots, not fixing ball markers on greens, constantly complaining to the staff who weren’t having any of it. Heck, there were even people inside the pro shop without masks on. MASKS ARE MANDATORY INSIDE PUBLIC BUILDINGS! Just because of people being so dumbfounded I have to give this place two stars. I want to give it 1 star but the course is in good condition. If the staff got their act together and were more strict towards people on the course and if people that go to the course were not so idiotic I would gladly give this place four or five stars. Not worth a thirty minute drive nor is it worth $30
Fairways and rough were in bad shape but greens were well kept. Great combination of layouts and elevation changes. Could be a solid course if they put a bit of money into it. $55 for round with cart though hard to complain
First Time
Great experience, we had 5 players we got split 3 and 2 and paired with a single player. He ended up being a 30 year player and gave us lessons the entire time and was extremely patient and informative
Cedar creek
Front nine not well layer out. Back nine is much better.
Wet before the rain
Course was soaked. Don’t know why. It’s been dry. Someone must have l eft the sprinklers on.
Crabgrass,Crabgrass,Crabgrass. Tee boxes are a disaster. Greens need to be cut and rolled. Need a ranger to enforce cart path rules and people replacing divots and fixing ball marks. Other than that Wow!!!
The course in good shape for this time of the year.
To many foursomes out at one time, delaying time of play.
Weather was great, play was fast, 18 holes 3 hours.
Corona victim
No one should have to pay more than $20 for this course..Aerated greens , awful tee boxes and the fairways were not much better.... But just like restaurants and bars , golf courses are sticking it to their customers...
An awful mess
I understand aeration of the greens at this time of year, but even the tee boxes were a disaster and overall, the course was very poorly maintained. They were out of carts, and the ones they eventually provided were filthy, missing a windshield, and had torn upholstery that kept snagging on my clothing. The course of play was horrifically slow, with the foursome in front of us unable to get off the tee and one of their foursome using a walker to approach the green (if you can believe it). A ranger was non-existent. Despite the affordability, I will not return.
