Swamp
Mud mud and more mud. Drives plugged in the fairways. We should have brought rubber boots to play in. They also said cart path only but most of the holes don’t even have a cart path.
Just a real nice place to play
Course is in good shape some real exciting holes really nice people to play with and all around pleasant day
Bad
Bad / Fairway and putting greens are so bad conditions
Terrible
Have been playing this course for 2 years and it gets worse every time I do. Fairways are 75% mud, the rough is dirt, tee box’s are dirt, total of about 2 decent greens on the whole course. Pace of play was terrible. I understand it’s November and the course isn’t going to be in the best shape but don’t charge full price! Place is in shambles.
Brown fairways and pockmarked green
good course layout, but course conditions were awful. I would not consider playing until conditions were significantly improved. That would be no earlier than next spring.
Good course slow pace
Fun course with lots of hills. Fairways and greens were not great. Biggest problem is the pace of play.
Cedar Creek 2020
Employee are great and friendly. Tee box are not in good shape. Greens are bumpy and slow. Seems no one like to fix divets. Overall the course has potential to be really nice love the layout. Challenging. The starter needs to come out and push people along. The rough is cut to low, and the fairways are soggy with grass missing or burnt out.
Rick
Nice course. The greens were fast and a few need a little up keep. Overall it was a good course. Friendly and accommodating staff.
Nice Day
Played 18 holes with a 4 some beginners/intermediate coarse is fun and challenging, fairways are beat up but it’s the end of October. Great day overall learning this great game
Help
Fairways non existent. More bare spots than grass. Muddy . Cart paths only but no one to enforce it. Tee boxes are a wreck and greens need help. Other than that Great. Only caveat is the Golf Now price.
Nice course
Enjoy playing Cedar Creek. No pressure, nice course and challenging. Plus it's close to home!
Could be better
Course was pretty swampy and fairways were pretty chewed up.
Pace was ridiculously slow. Over booked and players had minimum golf etiquette.
Five hours for a threesome and we didn’t get to finish.
Good Round, Grounds need work
Great layout but the fairways and greens could use some work. I know its October but the fairways were covered in weeds for the most part. Greens were good with some craters here and there, nothing crazy. Friendly staff and decent carts.
Bad Atmosphere Leads to Bad Experience
The course is a over average. The greens are maintained well and the fairways are slowly dying but that is mostly due to it being Fall. The back 9 did have a bad problem with mud near the lake/ pond but that’s expected.
The big problem I had was the pace of play and the people on the course. The staff didn’t look like they cared, but there were a few that tried to take their job seriously. The big thing was the stupidity of the other people on the course. People were taking their sweet time on the course, not repairing divots, not fixing ball markers on greens, constantly complaining to the staff who weren’t having any of it. Heck, there were even people inside the pro shop without masks on. MASKS ARE MANDATORY INSIDE PUBLIC BUILDINGS! Just because of people being so dumbfounded I have to give this place two stars. I want to give it 1 star but the course is in good condition. If the staff got their act together and were more strict towards people on the course and if people that go to the course were not so idiotic I would gladly give this place four or five stars. Not worth a thirty minute drive nor is it worth $30
Fairways and rough were in bad shape but greens were well kept. Great combination of layouts and elevation changes. Could be a solid course if they put a bit of money into it. $55 for round with cart though hard to complain
First Time
Great experience, we had 5 players we got split 3 and 2 and paired with a single player. He ended up being a 30 year player and gave us lessons the entire time and was extremely patient and informative
