Cedar Creek Golf Course

Went back after a few years away. Unfortunately conditions have not improved. Tees are consistently bare; lots of bare spots on greens. Good variety of interesting and challenging holes. Starters, front desk and bar staff all pleasant and attentive. Nevertheless, will probably wait to see some positive reviews before returning.

Ugh. Almost all the rough, the tee boxes and parts of the fairways are weed infested largely crab grass. I guess they don’t bother to put down weed control but honestly if they didn’t have the crab grass there would be no rough, tee boxes or fairway. The greens are either fine or horrible (looks like some sort of infestation). If it wasn’t for the $33 greens fee I’d really be upset. It’s playable-barely. It’s a shame nice layout.

$45 is a joke for this place. Should be $25 tops for 18. Greens a mess, fairways a mess, tee boxes are a joke. 5 1/2 hours to play . Ranger had no answer as to why there were 4 groups on 1 waiting to tee off ..only nice thing about this course is the staff

I’ve played here often and yes it’s just a municipal course, but it was in the absolute worst shape Sunday. Fairways had chunks missing out of them on certain holes, others the rough bled over into them. The rough was like a dirt track in spots and some had huge holes along the fair way. The tee boxes were embarrassing, hardly any grass. The greens got progressively worst through out the round. Dirt spots on some, other diseased and some partially aerated. I brought two people who had never played it before and i was embarrassed by it he state if it. I won’t be going back for a while. Best to spend money elsewhere for the time being.

Never disappointed when I play Cedar Creek ….

Found this hidden gem a few years ago , always quick to return when I’m down here from up north .

I have never been on the practice green bacause there’s always an opening , some how for me to get out earlier than scheduled tee time .

Course does get a little beat up be summertime, but for the value , I love it . We played in 3 1/2 hours today 🏎️… stared at 12. Looks like it gets a little slower pace later , but haven’t experienced that yet

My only complaint is they need to put out some water coolers .

I will always look for the beer cart, & grab something just to at least take care of the cart person $$ tough job .

…particularly for the price! Was first out at 6am and had quite a day! Would definitely recommend and will be back to play it again!

I just love the layout of the course. A lot of the putting greens were in bad shape, although the fairways were good. The Tee boxes could be marked better, but over all I really like the course. The staff is very nice and welcoming. I think that it could be the best course in the area if the greens were maintained.
