Hendricks is Back!
It’s been a few years since I played Hendricks, but I love what they’ve done with the place. They’ve updated the carts, add hitting bays to warm up, and the practice green is in good shape too. The course felt a little more open than it did 3-4 years ago as they removed some trees on a few holes. The greens and fairways were in good shape for the middle of summer. The only negative might’ve been the rough. It looked like something you’d see at a links course and the length made it difficult to find some balls. But other than that I was very pleased. They’ve done a great job updating the course and I’ll probably be here regularly now.
Course gets better and better.
Do yourself a favor and just play it since the renovation.

Beautiful remodeling job done on course. Staff is always friendly and tries their best to accommodate everyone. Hendricks is our favorite course.

Bravo!!
First time playing here since renovation/upgrade completion on the new front nine. Excellent fairway, green, bunker conditions. Tee boxes were a little hard and choppy, but the layout was enjoyable, very comfortable. Overall, a great option for all!

Hendricks revived
Great course now. Playing much better that they’ve added some bunkers, lengthened holes, let the tall wispy fescue grow, and removed some trees. Very worth the price.

Nice course upgrade, but high, wild-grassed rough a bit much
What a wonderful renovation and course rerouting. Good tee boxes, greens and well maintained sand in the bunkers. However, somebody went overboard with the high, wild grasses. Looks pretty but it really slows down play and is way too punitive. A course needs to protect itself and reward keeping the ball on the fairway, but it's just a bit much in places. Might as well be red staked.
I was also surprised that for all the great upgrades they didn't bother with a halfway house. A couple of vending machines in the clubhouse is all you get.

HANDICAP PLAYERS
your staff did an amazing job in renovation hendricks field. Zac your staff are doing a great job in maintaining the course and cooperation with the players. However, the design of the course creates a tremendous amount of walking for the players. The computer run of the cart creates a tremendous amount of problems for the players.
The course was designed which created a lot of unnecessary walking for the players.
YOU CAN SOLVE THIS PROBLEMS BY ESTABLISHING A PARKING SPOT NEXT TO THE GREENS JUST FOR HANDICAP PLAYERS !!!!!!!!!!!! This is currently being done by the Atlantic National Golf Course in Lake Worth, FL. just for handicap players. Because of these issues, a lot of time is wasted and pace of play is slow !!!
I urge you to create this area !!!!!!!!!!!! It would solve a lot of problems.
