Course very playable with aerated fairways
Fairways in good condition. Greens slow—should be rolled and cut. Tee boxes need some attention—should be mowed shorter and moved more frequently.

The course in good shape for this time of the year.
Had to pay an extra $10 to ride in the cart. Did not have a foursome for the tee time scheduled? Golfnow said cart included?

Don’t bother
For starters the pro shop has nothing in it, the guy working the pro shop wasn’t friendly. The started was clueless how to do his job but nice, there was no ranger out on the course pace of play was disgusting almost 6 hour round. The blue tee boxes need some work but course is coming around condition wise if they maintain it. The cart girl was friendly but had very little selection and they need new range balls and update there carts. My overall rating for Lakewood c.c C+

this course is not worth what they charge. The Teebox and greens are a disaster. The staff is rude. Parking is a nightmare. Food truck lady is constanly yelling st golfers. avoid at all costs

Good course for a beginner. Wide fairways helps to not loose too many balls.

Lakewood Country Club
First time playing, great course, awesome layout. Pace of play was the worst I’ve ever experienced. 3:08 tee time didn’t start until 3:32 Website claims 16 min intervals but in fact they are 8 min. We had an intoxicated employee playiBf behind us teeing up on same tee box while we were waiting kept telling us the course layout and such. Other than pace of play and the drunk employee course was great

Cart ripoff.
I signed up as a single and was told i would be playing with a threesome. The morning of our round only two of the three some showed and, naturally the two remaining players grabbed a cart together.. I had to ride alone and the person at the desk charged me double the cat fee for "riding alone" . I protested that it wasn't my fault someone i didn't know didn't show up and i shouldn't be charged double. I was told "that's how management wants it". I paid because i had sat in a lot of traffic to get there and i really wanted to play. However, i won't go back. Otherwise course is in good shape and has some interesting holes.
Horrible staff at lakewood
Made reservation on their website but it books through golf now. Policy is 24 hr notice to cancel. Tried to cancel reservation Thru golf now more then 24 hrs in advavance but app wouldn’t let me cancel. Called club direcectly and they said they have no control and u will be charged if u don’t show up. Tried calling golf now but get only a machine which says use the online chat. Tried and that doesn’t tell work. Once u book they have your money and there is no way to cancel. Played and course in horrible condition
Also left my range finder in cart and they say they never saw it even though they supposedly clean carts due to corona virus. Guess they stole that as well
Better to not play golf they to play Lakewood. Also never use golf now if u ever want to see your moneyagain

Fantastic day
Never played this course before- was pleasantly surprised at the shape of the course. Fairways and greens were in nice shape. Will definitely be back. D for a holiday t the pace of play was really good
