Ocean County Golf Course at Forge Pond

This a great course for beginners and experienced golfers, the upkeep is pristine and the staff is very nice.

Course is a bottle short course but the tee boxes are in need of some major work . Greens are good ! The staff is soooo friendly and accommodating !

Delivers what it's supposed to. Greens and fairways in good shape. Great place for par 3 holes practice and approach wedge shots on short par 4s. Tight, so you wanna rip drives, they need to be straight. Enjoyable round.

We were on hole 16 following 90 degree rule for carts and a crazed staff member came out of nowhere in a golf cart ( not with ranger markings so obviously not the ranger ) and chased me down screaming obscenities and threatening to kick me out, seriously screaming at me as if I was some high school kid lol) driving around recklessly on the course (mind you may look younger but I am a 48 year old adult male , absolute disrespect and unacceptable behavior. The man obviously does not play golf nor understand the rules, long story short it was a dog leg right and from the car path the path to my ball was 90 degrees!! I turned around in the woods to not do it on the fairway and he yelled at me for that as well. Then proceeded to tell me not to argue my point or he would physically throw me off the course, which is laughable but still unacceptable threatening a patron. He would not give his name but I’m sure the course knows who I am talking about. Anyway ruined the vibe for the last 3 holes and I don’t think I will be playing there again. This employee does not belong on a golf course, nor out in public if this is his type behavior around patrons of the business he works for.

This was a fun course to play given fact that we were on vacation and the quick play was a positive.

Tee boxes need some work but overall conditions were good. Give it a try!

As always, the course is in great condition! Not a big fan of the cart path only on bright sunny weekend! Slows down the pace of play.

Course was on … T Boxes were rough and over grown the greens were small and could have been smoother

The staff is so friendly, and the course is great shape. Recent tree removal has opened up some holes and feels like a new course.

Great local course! Staff was amazing the entire time! Course was taken care of. Greens were on slower side. I would definitely recommend and I’m sure going to come back for another round soon!
