Forge Pond
Cart had a golf ball hole in the windshield. That tells you how the course is maintained. They cut a tree down and dropped it in the green so that was a mess. Tee boxes were dirt. I played with a couple of regulars that said the top dressed the greens a month ago. There was no grass on the greens still covered in sand. Layout is what it is and for a par 60 I thought that it was nice. Other golfers on the fairways because it is tight but everyone was nice. Cart paths were a mess. For $20 in the winter you get what you pay for I guess...
Droppings everywhere
The greens and tee box were just covered with deer and geese droppings. The greens were also horrible, just piles of sand everywhere.
GREAT TIME!
I had a great time but the greens were a little bit too Sandy. I Already have a new date to play again.
Nice short track
Pleasantly surprised with the condition of this short par 60. Played on a Dec afternoon under a threat of rain [but no rain], so the crowds may have stayed away. Most short exec courses run by local towns are not well kept. This one is the exception. Greens were in great condition for Dec. Almost no ball marks to fix on the greens. This means that the grounds crew and or regular players take care of the place. Lots of short par 3s, but a few challenging holes. This is a good place to spend 2-3 hours if its not too crowded. Assume it is in nice weather. Well done Bricktown.
Forge Pond - so Great for beginners!
I Love the surroundings and being amongst nature.
The narrowness of the course definitely helps you concentrate on hitting a straight shot!
The staff is Super friendly!
Looking forward to going back
Challenging Executive Course for all golfers
Par3 and 4's only on this course, however most holes have hazards including narrow fairways, water (ponds) fairway sand bunkers and challenging greens. Some holes have impossible attack angles to the pin where it would be very hard to score pars. The course was in great shape for December without fallen leaves on the fairways. Excellent value for a round of golf.
Good value
Good course to practice short game. Very tight but enjoyable.
Eagle soared
Course is in great shape. The greens prodded well. Definitely worth the money. Due to the virus, there weren’t any of course amenities. I would definitely recommend it to a friend, I find it’s a good work out with your ions
Short game track
Great course to practice the short game. Fairways and greens good - players need to take care of their divots. However, the tee boxes are completely bare. The tee markers are kept in the same place. If you want to hit from grass you can, just know you will have to readjust your yardage. Folks are friendly and helpful. Will return.
nice play
Nice county course. many par 3s offered opportunities to work on short game, but somewhat challenging by hilly greens and narrow fairways. 9th hole made challenging with only allowing use of IRONS. But interesting challenge. Tree lined fairways made for interesting challenges, but certainly a picturesque view of the land. Starter and cashier were excellent! Tee boxes could use more rotation as some were grassless. In general the greens were somewhat divot free. I had problems with a chauvinist marshal that seemed to only want to tell us to keep moving (4 some of women) YET he understood we were being held up by the group in front, yet still felt the need to tell us to hurry up. So? are we to start hitting into them! He came back several times just to keep "mansplaining". He ruined our wonderful golf day. Someone needs to give him some training that female golfers do NOT SLOW PLAY!!!! Slow golfers slow play!
SLOW GOING
TEES WERE ROUGH, EVERYTHING ELSE, ESPECIALLY GREENS IN GOOD SHAPE.. SIZE AND CONTOUR OF GREENS MAKE IT A BIT CHALLENGING. A GOOD LAYOUT CONSIDERING THE LENGTH. I ENJOYED THE ROUND, BUT WOULD NOT LIKELY PLAY AGAIN DUE TO THE SLOW PLAY.
