Decent day
Weather was great. Course ok. Went to get balls and check in but you can’t check in early. Seemed odd. Driving range sufficient but low thrills. Course was backed up from the First to the tenth hole. Group in front only played nine. Back was quicker. Overall almost 5 hrs. Course was decent shape. Greens ok. No speed demons but more than adequate. It’s a club that was great in its hey day but has seen much better times.
It’s local to the point pleasant area and it’s not overly expensive. Worth giving a try.

The course is poor
The woman at the check in desk was not friendly. The tee boxes were chopped up and not maintained. The fairways were in very good condition. The greens were aerated more than 6 weeks ago, I was told, but appears as though it was a week ago. I would rate the course as a 1 or less.

Good value for the money
Friendly staff. Wide open fairways and appropriate tee positions for White and Seniors. Very nice outdoor bar
Shot 82 from both tees. I’m 65 and had no problem moving up

Nice and well groomed
Course is well taken care of. Some Fun holes and some challenging holes. Great value for the money. We play here often.

Horrible vonditions
We had plenty of rain and this course is horrible!!!

Lakewood Country Club
The fairways were in very good condition. The tee boxes were fair but the greens were in very poor condition. They were poorly maintained, very uneven and bumpy.

Ten Years After...
...since I last played Lakewood CC and while I remembered it was an OK track, certainly at the good value “Hot Deal” price, the fairways were in very poor condition, even for the early season conditions. They badly need to aerate and super-seed the fairways, then cut and give them a heavy roll as they were very spotty and clumpy. It’s an otherwise interesting layout and fair bit of challenge from the tips, greens are funky with several swale effects going on, plus they make good use of greenside traps and fairway waste bunkers. The outside tiki bar rocks and has great food and drinks.
Again, a decent course, but they need to work on those fairways.

Greens are airrated without any notification of that happening. Tee box’s are off set. Not flat what so ever.

Good not Great
I've played here a handful of times. Not pricy and not extravagant but I like the course overall.

Lakewood GC
Lakewood GC is presently being up graded the greens are being air rated, the putting at present is a Little restricted, other than that the course is in rather good shape !!!

Fun track
I don't play Lakewood C.C. that often. Maybe 15 rounds in the last 10 years. Tricky greens with tons of undulation, crowned greens on most holes requires precision on approach shots. Overall a fun track to get your game in tune for the upcoming season. The 12th hole is a challenge with a tremendous uphill approach on a shorter par 4.

Lakewood golf
The course was in good shape one or two hole had some course damage but on hole is was in pretty fair shape

Course conditions beat expectations!
Drainage good, leaves a none issue and greens in great shape! Surpassed my expectations for December golf!! Didn’t hurt getting a sunny day in the 50’s....
