$33 hotdeal
People were complaining about the place. It was in great condition considering it wad early May. They are putting work in, and should be amazing in a month or 2. Greens were in GREAT condition. Got a $33 hotdeal at 4:10pm and there's NO way to beat that. Just overpriced like EVERYTHING else around in NJ. It's ridiculous the prices these places are charging. Keep it like $60 max, and you'll have all the business you need. Will definitely be back. A favorite of mine anyway.
Everything but the greens were garbage
I swear they only worked on the greens since last season. You hit one straight down the fairway and have a 50/50 shot you’re sitting on grass. Hit one around the green there’s a 90/10 chance you’re on dirt. Nice greens once you get there though. Tee boxes also trash
Challenging course, fun to play, excellent staff
Fun, challenging course, need to keep it straight, not the longest but still very difficult. Course conditions were great especially the greens and fairways, tee boxes were hit and miss. Staff was extremely friendly. Will definitely be back!
Solid Course!!
The greens were in excellent condition but the fairways were patchy but overall the Links is a fun course with long par 5s and a few holes that really put your shot-shaping skills to the test. Always have fun playing there :)
Challenging tight course, especially the greens.
Really nice course. Very tight, but mostly reasonable. Greens have more slope than most public courses and were in very good shaper for March. Fairways were in average shape.
Good course; it’s still early in the season.
I play here once in a while. The staff is usually pretty cool. On the nicer days They have the best hot dogs around (not available the day we played). It’s still early in the season to judge any course in the area. I will say it looks like they’re investing a great deal of effort and I’m hopeful that will pay off. A little more spring cleaning and a good leveling of the cart path should be all that’s needed. Looks like they’re improving the sprinkler infrastructure and have tons of ground areas under repair. The greens were in surprisingly good shape for this early. A bunch of tee boxes are getting a makeover and there is a fair amount of new sod down. It’s close to home and worth the $50-60. They do have some fun holes. One of my favorite shots is hitting over the water (8 I think). I’ll give it a few weeks and see how much changes. I’ll definitely be back.
Just keeps getting worse
I'm so disappointed that they can't get this course is good shape. they added a cart path and fresh grass around tee boxes but the fairways are unplayable on most holes. my friends give me crap for wanting to play here but even for my standards it's gone. $70 in the freezing spring is rough. I really hope this turns around but for at least a few months stay away
Do you even try
To start positive the cart lady was very nice, friendly, cool. The tee boxes are completely torn up, They mark the tees with numbers and not by color.
The fairways looks as though they don't even care. Inconsistent grass, empty patches and the 11th looked as though someone vandalize their way from the tee box to the green. Or maybe the deer have been given the keys to the course.
The greens were either just punched or were still dimpled from being punched on the fall. The holes were cut in terribly. One Flag stick was leaning and another hole have a broken cup.
A bit ridiculous to allow the course to be in such conditions and have the audacity to charge $80.
Definitely not worth the money in it's current condition. They are doing a lot of upgrades but still has no real clubhouse, fairways are terrible, bunkers are greens are good, layout is good, cart paths are good, and adding new tee boxes. Price should be cheaper unit upgrades are done.
Need a clubhouse.
Great place to play golf. Enjoy the layout and staff are nice. Wish they had a club house to hang out after a round.
