Need a clubhouse.
Great place to play golf. Enjoy the layout and staff are nice. Wish they had a club house to hang out after a round.
Fairways
The fairways were not great, spotty grass in many areas and nor even cut in spots
Bad Conditions
The tee boxes and fairways were absolutely disgraceful. If you ended up in the fairway, it was like hitting out of craters. The group ahead of us was so slow and no ranger in sight to watch pace of play. Springfield would have been a better choice given what we payed.
First timer
Layout was great. Challenging course that makes you keep things in fairway in order to score.
Another tough and tight course in the Jersey Pines
Played from the Blue or what they label as the II tees in a I through IV set up, which I’m just now realizing is probably an accommodation to those with colorblindness, and it was a difficult layout as expected, especially as things seemed to get tighter on the back nine, or maybe that’s just when started losing control of my tee shots - Ugh. Overall, a pretty well-maintained course: Decent condition of tee boxes and greens considering a late Summer/early Fall dry spell, raked traps with adequate sand, various types of water in play like streams, lakes, ponds, so my only ding on the course might be that some of the fairways need grass growth and thickness attention as lies were rarely good enough to reward staying on them so I often felt the need to take the liberty of rolling the ball over to a decent support of grass to hit approach shots from.
Not Up To Par
I played this course years ago, and I cannot believe how much it has deteriorated. The fairways were crabgrass and dirt on many of the holes. I will not be playing here again and would not recommend it to any of my friends.
No shame
Love the Links layout, course conditions are subpar, green okay many unfixed ball marks ,but in good shape. Fairways & tee boxes were deplorable. For the rack rate on Friday & Weekends approx $80 they have no shame. The layout and hole designs are good and if the course conditions improve& clubhouse ever gets rebuilt they would be justified in charging this much.
