Great course except
This course offers excellent value, and I thoroughly enjoyed my round. However, the fairways are exceptionally bumpy, presenting a significant challenge that detracts from the overall experience. The abrupt and harsh undulations make for a very jarring ride, unlike anything I've encountered on other courses. Addressing the fairway conditions would elevate this course considerably.
Beautiful course
First time playing this course and pleasantly surprised how nice it was for the price. We played as a twosome and only waited on the first hole. The 19th hole is a beautiful spot overlooking the course. Definitely recommend it.
Fun course good value
River Oaks is a fun course nice full trees lots of fun greens great scenery the staff has been working hard to smooth out the bumpy parts and it shows. There are still some parts that are kind of bumpy but mostly in the rough so it only affects play if you are missing fairways like I do... 🤣 We golfed the day after 4 inches of rain and it was fairly wet in spots which is to be expected just something to be aware of when booking tee times
