The course is well maintained except for the traps traps are not playable is bad and yet one annoying part was that they always bow they had like four mowers out there it's kind of distracting coming over other than that the greens are fine and of course is fine challenging course but they should mow it a different time I know it's a public course we had one more follow us around for like four holes
Just a discrace
The Town of Colonie, used to be a very nice course to play.
With the amount of rain we have had last year, the courses were mostly a lake. The course has poor drainage, detering cart paths, roughs that have been sprayed with something, that the grass is dying (yellow in color) and bunkers that are like rock quarries.
Been playing this course for 30+ years and now my guys don't want to play the courses anymore. For the money you pay, it is a wiser choice to go somewhere else.
They have talked about making all kinds of renovations, but talk is cheap with new administration. There is no proof of changes occurring, other than more things getting worse.
Save your money, find another course to play at.
Love this course!!!
This is my home course as I live blocks away. Its a great place to play because since they have 4 nine hole offerings you can pretty much always get out. Staff is friendly and always willing to accomadate. Noel G. which is the pro there is really fantastic. Helped me shave 5 or 6 strokes off my game...
