Good Day playing Golf
The greens are in very good shape. Staff is friendly and willing to help make your visit great
Full Fall Colors in Play
Such a beautiful time of season to play. . .
Just keep that in mind if you used colored balls. Easy to lose.
Soft fairways, (you’ll get under your shots).
Finally, slow greens. Give it a little extra!
First off I love this place and my review is to the 2 clowns in front of me who refused to let me play through. I was a single golfer and just passing by. I was on in regulation and putting on most holes as they were taking 2 shots off the tee box. I get it we all got to start somewhere and I am not a pro at this but come on my guy step aside. It slowed my game up I shot like trash and that’s it. Every hole I came to had 2 to 4 playing. Overbooked is no fun.
Nice Short Course
Arrowhead Gold Course is a challenging short Course. There are no par 5s but plenty of challenging par 4s. The Course is being upgraded and the results are very good.
From tee to green the Course plays well and offers some very tight fairways lined with trees. The greens also offer some challenges with pin placement.
The staff was great. They made us feel very welcome and Fred gave us some travel advise.
The clubhouse offers beverages and snacks.
A fun course and pretty scenery.
Rain, rain, go away, . . . But thank you!
As I’m writing many of my reviews these past couple of weeks. Thanks to Mother Nature, all of the local courses, including this one, are in some of the best conditions I have ever seen, this late into the season.
Pros: tee boxes, fairways, roughs, fringes, and greens are all well cut.
Pro-shop is doing more than just golf, introducing, or at least promoting the sport in different ways with the “fling stix” and with nighttime glow golf.
Bunkers were raked recently and in pretty nice shape. Not that I went in any, however, my buddy, said they were nice. lol
Average: carts, nothing to write home about, however, get you to where you want to go.
Cons: I wish the flags were a little easier to spot placement. Not a clear way to tell if they’re font, middle, or back, on the greens.
Some of the tee boxes are pretty uneven. Though, I have seen worse.
The course was lovely, a real gem. Enough water features to challenge me, narrow and wide fairways, dogleg, and the length right for beginners and seniors. We will be back!
New owners. The GM was extremely friendly. Arrowhead was always a hidden GEM for improving your short game. It does offers some longer drives.
Fairways are in great shape. The front greens need some improvements
Won’t go back
Greens were long and running very slow. Disappointed in the course condition. Definitely not what I remembered it as a kid growing up. For the $, i won’t go back.
Need to iron out those mids?
This course really plays like an executive course. Perfect time to tune up those mid irons.
Staff is friendly, and was very polite on the course,(pausing when seeing us getting ready to shoot).
Very good pace of play. When we teed off, the parking lot was over 3/4 full and we had no stoppage in play with the exception of a five minute pause at the turn.
Pro shop / dining area is very nice.
Golf in the Forest
Lots of trees in the middle of fairways. Course needs better signage to find a few holes. Good course for the price.
Great Local Course!
Arrowhead Golf Course is a challenging short course with no par 5s but plenty of great par 4s.
The course conditions were very good from tee to green with trees and some water to avoid.
The staff was very friendly and Fred gave us some good travel advice.
We will play here again when in this area.
First time playing here and I will be back it was laid out nicely and is in good shape
