Pleasant surprise
Nice mix of holes.As people have said drainage seems to be a problem. Lots of roped off areas. Contrary to many reviews the people in the pro shop were great. The starter was a great lady, who took command of the first tee. Full kudos too her for walking around in 90 plus degrees and huuuuumid. Played in Less than 4 hours with a7:50 tee time. Shot 35 on the back nine so I was happy! With 3 birdies.

Average county course. For the most part condition of course was very good. Pace of play not so much. A ranger would help.

Nice Links layout
The course is in decent condition considering its a County Municiple course and gets a lot of play each day. Since the course is located near Great South Bay this is low country and the course doesn't drain well. So stay away the day after a heavy rain,

A Great Place To Play
I enjoyed Bergen Point. It is in a good condition and it provides me with Florida golf, minus the Bermuda grass, on Long Island.
