We lost at 9 hole, the staff reminded us our twilight pay . We not supposed to do mistake. Pretty bad.

I like the course. It is a muni so gets a ton of play. Some interesting holes with doglegs and some tight driving holes with water trouble lurking. Problem hear is pace of play. Rounds can be 5 hours. Last 3 times I played rounds were 5 hours and more. Rangers hesitate to push customers who are “regulars”.

This is my 2 nd time playing this course after the first I swore I’ll never go back but I figured 2 years later it has to have gotten better. Wrong!

We Had a 9 am weekday tee time & it took 5 hours to play. We waited on 14 holes as the course bogged down. This course insists on 10 minute intervals for tee times and that’s a mistake it should be 12-15 minutes but I guess they need the money so lets screw the customer out of an enjoyable round of golf. The Ranger is an old guy who wants to ride around smoking a 12 inch cigar and ask how you are doing but does nothing to improve your pace of play. We spoke to him on 3 separate occasions asked him to please try to improve the pace of play. Nothing happened. He said the old guys like himself were slowing things down.

The tee box on the par 3 12th hole was in the dirt to the right because the original tee box was under repair meanwhile the ladies and seniors was in good shape and the same distance. Why not just make it all 4 tee lengths until the ground is repaired. There is a lot of standing water and sloppy spots around the course. As far as the greens go 6-7 have disease and are in bad shape. The aeration was completed Recently and the greens weren’t bumpy but overall fir the money spent I think there are better place to play on Long Island. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

Greens were in terrific shape, rolling really well and with good pace. Some fun pin locations with fair breaks. Course can be a little soppy in some areas. Definitely some challenging holes with tight landing areas. Staff very friendly, starter Vinny was very helpful.

I showed up at 2:12 for a 2:20 tee off. The woman that started us off immediately told us that we are late. 4 times while waiting to check in she said that if this was the summer she would not let us play. We must be in the tee off box by 2:20 or she wouldn’t let us play. She didn’t let us know that the 1st was right there. We drove off and had to come back. We were in the tee off box by 2:19. She was very rude, obnoxious and unprofessional. If that’s how the staff reacts towards its patrons, you can be sure we won’t be returning.

good layout with challenging holes. I have played BP about 8 to 10 times over 20 years. conditions have improved. the fairways were drenched do to heavy rain combined with low water table 30+ mph winds also. walked off after 9 holes will return in June when course is dry and not windy. good value for hot deals
